The tariffs are probably a dumb idea, especially against Canada, but they won't be cataclysmic.
And like the angry people here, the angry people in other countries won't have much impact. Just like the angry people in your country..

If I didn't know Jack any better, and I don't know Jack any better, I would say judging by his comments he has "Trump Derangement Syndrome" meaning he has an emotional dislike to Trump.
However, I don't understand why Jack is NOT a supporter of Trump because he seems to be the type of person that would support Trumps policies and sentiments: tackle the 35 trillion trade debt, protect American jobs, have strong borders, stop uncontrolled immigration especially undocument / illegal immigration, wariness to Islam, anti-woke, merit rather than DEI representation, scepticism of the mainstream media, scepticism of the BBC.
If Trump was British and was running to be the Prime Minister - would jack run a million miles in the other direction to vote for whoever was on that other side? I know many people dislike Trump emotionally (the left, woke liberals, open border anti-nationalists, anarchists, nihilists ...) but I wouldn't have thought people like Jack would be against him in this way.

I don't like what he is proposing in the Gaza strip. I joked he would turn it into a new Vegas, he is!
He can't do this. It belongs to the Palestinians. He is sending them into other countries, why not in Israel, it was theirs to begin with!
Netayahu says send them to Ireland, what? He just wants them away from Israel and with Trumps help they will be dispersed.I
This makes me angry. I agree with most of what Trump is doing, but not this. It's wrong. It belongs to Palestine.
I can see a war out there.

^^ THAT And the reasons why I despise him would keep me here all day.
In any event, I believe he’s just a token gatekeeper for now - until Musk and Thiel decide it’s time for their boy JD to step up. Or unless one Big Mac too many causes him to finally croak (@Universe, please let it be!)

Nobody is going to take those Palestinians. That idea is dead in the water.
Ideally, you give Gaza back to Egypt . That aint happening either.
What has changed is the US will be pulling aid for them. They can fund their terrorism on someone else's dime..
Not much good if people refuse to buy them. Are ordinary Americans aware how much anti-US feeling there is in the rest of the world right now?

A majority of Americans voted for him. You are claiming all these people 77,302,580 are not ordinary. Also those that didn't vote or didn't vote for him not all have an emotional dislike for him. Your comment not only tells us that YOU have an emotional dislike for Trump but tells us you have an emotional dislike for all those Americans that voted for him. That makes you anti-democratic and a fascist. People with emotional dislike are unable to think clearly. Emotion vs Intellect. The mob vs civility.

Yes, there are significantly more European cars on UK roads than American cars;
due to the proximity and accessibility of European car manufacturers,
American cars are rarely seen in the UK, making European cars vastly more prevalent on British roads.
Key points:
Market dominance:
Most cars sold in the UK are manufactured by European companies, so the majority of vehicles on the road are European.
Import challenges:
Importing American cars to the UK can be costly due to tariffs and transportation fees, making them less common.

There are plenty of Fords but never any made in America.
There is very little of anything American here or the rest of Europe t6hat comes to mind.

We have plenty of Japanase and European cars. Now, many are made here, but that wasn't always the case.
While I'm no fan of tariffs, the Europeans don't seem too afraid of using them.
And best I can tell, we still haven't actually enacted any..

It's getting a little crazy over here. Folks are losing their minds, which makes me think we are on the right track..
And while I don't know if Europeans would buy more American cars with a lower tariff on them, it's seems a bit unfair for the EU to charge more than us.

Europeans prefer higher quality cars, not American ones.
