Did your people really end up picking the lesser of two evils? All the alleged bomb threats on election day at the swing states‘ polling stations. Plus Musk in the run-up to election day repeatedly posting on his disinfo hub (formerly known as Twitter) that “Anything can be hacked.” All of that maybe, just maybe, could have rigged/affected the overall outcome.
But again, that’s down to the Democrats’ incompetence and failure to take a closer look, by at least calling for audits of any questionable election results.

I don't disagree that bringing down federal spending (and therefore inflation) is imperative. I think you debt to GDP ratio is even worse than ours which is saying something (although you have much better growth which balances out the risk.)
Bringing down inflation and therefore increasing personal spending power is completely understandable. However, government debt isn't the only driver of poor standard of living is it? What's the use of lower prices if you ultimately cannot afford the key things in life, especially if it for your kids who suffer, for things that bring security - assets.
The idea that billionaires are fighting for things like free speech or rooting out corruption out of the pure goodness of their hearts is utterly laughable. It's fine if their interests don't ultimately conflict with an individuals. If they do conflict then individuals have to point that out and fight for their own interests. Billionaires are not going to do that for us.

Credit Card debt was at it's lowest during Covid, so that's exactly where a lot of those stimulus checks went. Look at 2020 -2021 on that graph. Saving accounts were up, credit card balances were at their lowest levels. With half the country sitting on their asses..
