There was accusations of reporting bias from the BBC in the way the murder of young Kriss was reported compared to the case of Stephen Lawrence.
Kriss Donald's murder was only mentioned on the national news three times.
Exactly! He was white, that's why, oh and his murderers were Muslims!
Stephen's murder was hyped up so.much and then made racist. They may have killed him but it wasn't because of his colour. I've heard several stories, all very similar of what really happened.
Yeah Mags, the sheer double standards are simply disgusting - the poor little bugger was white and his killers were Muslims so the media did not/do not give a flying toss.
Hope everyone is ok on here anyway. X

Hey JD, always nice to see you. Hope you are ok. This weather is too hot for me phew🚿
He was the ring leader who kidnapped and tortured Kriss Donald, in what was the first ever race hate murder in Scotland.
Kriss was a 15 years old white boy and the gang held him down and stabbed him 13 times and then doused him in petrol and set him on fire as the boy bled to death.
That's only part of what they did, they then hot footed it to Pakistan and would never have stood trial if it hadn't been for MP Mohammed Sarwar.
Mr Sarwar's son is now the Scottish Labour leader, i like him too.
Good, make.him suffer the same way. Hope he screamed! Bastard. Hope he gets more of what he dealt out to that poor boy.
He's been attacked a few times, even the prison officers hate his guts.
He was nearly killed a few years ago when he was in the prison gym and someone hit him over the head with a weight.
He was out cold, his one friend ran to his defence, so the prisoners beat him up as well
There was nearly a riot.
I don't advocate violence, but oh that's music to my ears.
I subscribe to the three crime magazines that are published in the UK each month, plus the specials.
Anyway, I've read just about everything and thought I couldn't be shocked anymore.
Then I read the case of Sandra Cantu, the eight year old girl went missing and the police guessed the person who abducted her was a white male because most child killers are.
Sandra was found a few days later, stuffed in a suitcase, raped and murdered.
The person responsible for her death was her Sunday school teacher, 28 year old Melissa Huckaby.
A woman, the mother of a young daughter herself.
She had snatched Sandra, drugged her, abused her with an object then killed her.
The prosecution believe she killed Sandra for attention.

What a surprise, never expected a woman. Such evil people out there😠

It was John "Yogi" Hughes funeral today.
The big man came from the same town as me and was one of the Lisbon Lions.
The name given to the Celtic team who became the first British team to win the European Cup.
All the players were born within thirty miles of Glasgow and of course the manager Jock Stein was Scottish too.
Apparently Big Yogi hated Jock Stein's guts but that's another story...
Very few of the Lions left now, Jim Craig, John Clark, Willie Wallace and Bobby Lennox.
Willie Wallace was the only one not at the funeral, he lives in Australia now.

The Lisbon Lions were the Celtic team who won the European Cup, nobody thought they had a hope in hell of doing so.
It was voted Scotland's greatest ever sporting moment, they were gentlemen and rather likeable.
Big John overcame cancer some years ago, he was only given a 20% chance of survival.
By a coincidence it was his son who was his doctor that treated him.
I'm about to watch "The Burning Bed" starring Farrah Fawcett.
It's based on the true story of Francine Hughes who suffered years of abuse at the hands of her husband before she doused the bed he was sleeping in with petrol and chucked a match on it.
Her husband had raped and beaten her again that night.
It was the first ever case in America where "Battered woman syndrome" was used as a defence for murder.
Her husband was a policeman, upholding the law during the day and behaving like a bastard at home.
He even murdered his children's kitten.
Anyway it cost £6.99 to watch on Prime Video, they wanted £23:00 for the DVD.

I saw this years ago Vita, from what I can remember, it was very good, and Farrah Fawcett proved she could act as well as look pretty for Charlie.

It's was great Syl, I felt like cheering when the bastard burned.
Farrah was also in "Small Sacrifices" another true story based on the case of Diane Downs who shot her three children to be with her boyfriend.
Blamed it on a mystery man but she was found guilty and is still in prison.
38 years she's served now, at least in America you get a life sentence or death.

In a scene from "The Burning Bed" Micky Hughes is beating Francine and the police arrive and start to manhandle him and his parents come rushing out screaming "Get your hands off my boy"
Seriously, his wife is lying in a crumpled heap and somehow Micky Hughes is the victim.
😠

Maybe/definitely there would be less abusive men around if they were brought up properly by loving (not doting) parents.
I will watch that film again one day.
Farah, who was an icon in her time, was more or less ignored the day she died sadly. Michael Jackson died on the same day, that's all the press were interested in.

It was sad the way her death was overlooked because of Michael Jackson, I was never a fan and he was of rather dubious character.
Very pretty woman Farrah Fawcett, even without make up.

I love reading and was reading some facts about books, apparently a "Mills and Boon" book is sold every ten seconds in the UK.
I've never read one, I prefer a good murder.

Mills and Boon is not for me either.
Murders, mysteries, suspense, something with a bit of gore.
I loved the Dexter books...better than the TV series.
Criss Carter , Paul Finch, Linwood Barkley, good names I look out for.
