Terrible rain here the last few days.
My brother has gone to Manchester, for a few days to support his wife while she has an operation.
A wee bit sun would cheer them up!!

Of course this is Fair Friday and as fitting the tradition, it's pissing it down.
I wonder if many will be going 'doon the watter'

OMG that storm that was forecast... nothing.
Couple of gentle showers and the day is still and silent not a wisp of air moving.
No wind no thunder just a big nothingness.

So far today 18 with showers and I'd rather be here in this than in Greece or Spain with what they have just now.

Windy but warm and sunny. No sign of the thunderstorms they predicted 🙄

Sun was boiling for 5 minutes, got the cushions out, great big, black, bastard clouds have now arrived.

Fires lit.
I couldn't face going having a shower and coming out of it's heat into what has become not so much a cold house but not a very comfortable one.
Clean clothes warmed in front of the fire and me too but I'm to warm now so will have to let it burn out.

Another steel grey sky here...obviously raining. I looked on the weather ap, Manchester has rain till the last day of July, probably all August too, but it doesn't stretch that far.

16 degrees here and that's the highest it will get today and it keeps raining. This will be the story for the next week at least. A pretty grim July all in all.
