People think I am odd, I have never owned a microwave.
I oven cook everything.

I cook everything too. I went about 6 months without a microwave until my daughter bought me one for my birthday. I also eat out a lot because I don't feel like cooking, especially if I work late..
Â
I do use the microwave to reheat leftovers. That's about it.Â

Microwaved food tastes inferior imo, so I have never bothered with one.
Â
Just been out for a cream tea (jam first) I actually took a photo, but I dont have the knack of making food look great...I will stick to palm trees.

Its different if you cook in the microwave. Â
Â
But the microwave is better at reheating cooked food.Â
Â
Otherwise you end up cooking your food twice.Â
Â
I know things can be reheated on the stove, but then you need to start adding back in water.Â
Â
I made a batch of lentils last night. I'd hate to try to reheat them on the stove..

You savage. You just eat it straight out of the fridge like a ravenous she-wolf don't you? 😉

I had roasted cheese last night.
Well that's what we call it, other folks say cheese on toast.

I had Chilli con carne last night and it was delicious.
Only one problem...I ended up with enough rice to give every member on here a generous portion.
No matter how hard I try (cup size) I always end up with far too much.
I went back so that Syl could see a giant picture of my Red Snapper..😎
Â
Â
I saw the title and thought yeah more and more petrol stations have eating places available but that place
is bigger than some villages out here!
Those beef ribs look very nice.

People actually come from all over the country to stop at a Buccees..
Â
And whenever I'm there there is easily 300 other people there with me.
Â
Pretty sure some have well over 150 gas pumps .
Marks and Spencer have started selling noodles.
I've had sweet and sour and chow mein.
I had the chow mein last night.
Â
You cook them in the box.
Open the noodle packet and the sauce one then shoggle them about and then two minutes in the microwave.
Â
