I walk the dog every day, even when I feel I have to drag myself round. Giving up exercise as you age is the worst thing you can do.
BTW, I was watching the TV series Landman set in the Texas oil fields and thought of you. What a bleak place that is. Nothing for miles not even a tree!

West TX and eastern NM is in the high plains. I'm guessing that's where they were filming.
The folks that settled there were definitely some hearty folks..
Of course, Texas is very diverse in geography and climate, and west Texas is also pretty diverse.
The area of west Texas with all of the oil is called the Permian Basin. It's not very appealing.
I can't imagine driving across that lot. Or worse, breaking down.

Maddog did you know that the southern states have a higher incidence of high blood pressure and strokes than the north? A major cause of high blood pressure is zinc deficiency. The soils in the south and especially Texas have a zinc deficiency. Might be something worth thinking about before they put you on blood pressure pills.
Saying that you sound pretty active so you may be ok with that blood pressure.

A lot of folks have all sorts of deficiencies. My diet includes a lot of healthy stuff.
I'm on a diuretic for my BP though..It runs about 135 over 85 without it, and that's a little too high.

Now you know why we drive 85-90 mph out there.
Its like the Australian outback..

Balanced weight and good health through light.
Blue light makes us fat?
Video by a brain surgeon.
Fascinating.
Might seem a bit confusing at first... his machine gun approach doesn't help but if you stick with it it really is quite fascinating.

There is no secret that we spend far too much time indoors. Plenty of data indicating how important sunlight is. As well as getting outdoors and moving.
Hubnerman is one of the biggest podcasters on the planet and he suggests getting sunlight as soon you wake up or as soon as the sub comes up.
Since those dirty filthy fogs before Xmas I've had a chest infection of some kind.
It seems to come and go.
I think I'm over the worse and then I start coughing up the gunk again.
Thing is I don't feel unwell.
Little tired maybe.
Quite a few friends and neighbours have it too but worse than me.
I think they have it worse because of all the over the counter medicines they use.
I rarely take cold showers, except when I'm overheated in 100 degree temps..
My kid got me a portable ice plunge contraption for Christmas, but I've not worked up the nerve to jump in ice water this time of year. My GF has done cold plunges at some of her yoga events..🥶❄️
She could do with eating all those with lots of butter

I think we all fall into the category of "older".
You will need Zuck book for this one..

She talks funny, but she ain't wrong..
Where would you say her accent is from?
The emerald isle.
Ahhh yes, but which part, the accents are very different.
