Frankenstein - pile of shite
Started off promising with the ship on the ice and the anatomical stuff, but then descended into a really boring storyline, with a really lame looking monster.
The CGI wolves were awful as well
3/10

Anyone watching that BBC series ...........
The war between the land and the sea?
Got to say it was better than I at first thought.

He's loud and brash, he's from Fort Worth, he tells people what to eat (liver) and how to live healthy and what it is to be a real man, he does 1000 push-ups a day, obsessed with lifting heavy weights and gave himself an orgasm doing bench presses.
The Liver King - Netflix

Sounds a tad like our very own Maddog

I'm not sure Maddog has ever mentioned bench presses.

Is this the Dr Who spin off?
I loved Dr Who as a kid with the Daleks, cybermen etc, but won't watch it as an adult as he has now turned into Dr Woke, with ridiculous PC storylines and every minority under the sun appearing in it.
The first review I read for the Land and Sea series said something like "the main character wakes up his daughter, who is naturally mixed race, takes her down to the car and refers to her as 'they'"
That was as far as I got.

Like you Red, I won't watch any Dr Who, far too woke. I recorded an old Dr Who film with Peter Cushing in and Daleks, love them.
I didn't know it was Dr Who spinoff until I started watching it. It's ridiculous story lines, laughable at times, so predictable aswell.
I still watch it, but I've lost interest in it now tbh.

I do bench presses all the time. I mocked Mamdani on his inability to bench some light amount like 130 pounds..
I had no idea the Liver King was from Fort Worth.
Difference between him and I is that he makes shit up, while I cite leading experts in the field.

I watched some of The Royal Variety Performances last night...it was the best one I have seen in years.
The Les Misérables tribute at the end was absolutely brilliant, if anyone hasn't yet seen that show, it's definitely one to go to, the best theatre musical I have ever seen.
Of the two comedians, one newer one, Tom Davis who I had never heard of...not very funny, then there was veteran Mick Miller, still hilarious.
Jason Manford hosted, he is very good....as were the 'Dead Ringers', four impersonators. When one of them did Starmer, the audience jeered and booed...very satisfying.

He's less gay. 😎
While I know of him, it's because he's a fraud and been exposed as such.
I've never seen more than a couple minutes of him talking about his "ideas'..
