Cant stand either of them...I always hoped Hilary would win that election.
She's not much better than the other two.

Many of the judges who ruled against trump in all 60 of the “stolen election” cases, *were appointed by him or another Republican president*.
As for Joe Biden, for a “decrepit puppet” he’s sure had a record-breaking first 2 years in office! I won’t list all the Bills he’s managed to get passed & signed into law (against all obstacles thrown at him every step of the way), but the list is long and impressive. After 4 years of trumpy angst and daily drama, I still believe Biden was the right man for the job at the right time - a much needed steady and calming influence.
That said, I don’t think he should run again. It takes a special level of stubborn arrogance to believe he‘d be up to the job well into his 80s.
Also, it’s hard to deny that his son is a Grade A douchebag. And whilst (private citizen) Hunter’s skeazy skullduggery can IN NO WAY be compared to the stratospheric corruption of trump’s grotesque spawn, I believe if criminality is found in any investigation into Hunter, then he should face the consequences like every other person would.
You don't really believe Biden runs things, do you?

At his age, probably not everything, no. But he seems to have been savvy enough to surround himself with experienced advisors & a cabinet that (mostly) seems competent enough.
A career in politics spanning 5 decades (inc 36 years as a Senator & 8 years as VP) must surely count for something, when it comes to understanding the inner workings and roadblocks of the DC ‘swamp’. I believe he’s still pretty savvy and clued-up overall - for now, at least!

No president really runs things. Especially in our system.
There is tendency to blame or give credit when things happen simply based on who's sleeping in the Whitehouse..
But our president can veto dumb legislation. I will hold them responsible for signing stupid bills..
It took some dumbasses to get us to 32 trillion in debt..
Dumbasses in DC and in the voting booth..

Biden hasn't broken a record in anything except more debt.
There have been a few bills passed. People aren't very impressed. He will beat Trump if Trump is nominated, but so could just about anyone..
"A poll from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research published Thursday found only 36 percent of surveyed Americans approve of Biden’s handling of the economy — and only 42 percent approve of his overall performance."
I get that Biden’s approval rating is low. I don’t understand it, but yeah, I do get the message.
I won’t drag this out with you, MD, because as a non-American I have to respect the fact that you’re in a better position to judge than I am. (also, I don’t want to piss off Syl/Diggs with too many posts).
But, just peripherally…your inflation is down to around 3%, lowest unemployment numbers since the 1960s, countless manufacturing job number tallies, America’s roads and bridges are being fixed/built, internet access to rural communities, insulin prices slashed and capped. I could go on…
More debt, yep, maybe so. But 7 trillion was added to your national debt under the last guy’s watch. What’s his excuse?
(can‘t do links on here, but might be worth checking out the investopedia.com site ‘Debt By US President’ article, for perspective. If you can be assed!)
Why don't you try use fact checker before posting this msm bullshit?
You obviously know nothing of the American economy. Everything and I mean everything has doubled in price. There are open borders with cities like NYC having to fund 100,000 newly arrived illegals.
Biden sends billions to the Ukraine But Maui was sent $5,000,000 in aid. Biden has still yet to visit east Palestine Ohio train crash site.
He's a fucking idiot

Reading some of the recent comments I would like to make the following response: if people can't get on with Holly then maybe they can't accept differing opinion and only get on with people that confirm or support their opinion.
What is it about online interaction that turns people into uncivilized "dicks"? It doesn't seem to matter what side of the socio-political fence they are on or how well educated they are.

MSM have their own fact checkers and an effective monopoly on what the majority are told. Better to criticize MSM rather than individual posters like VAM.

I remember the persona known as Stooo seeming to have a pathological hatred of the Welsh. It was baffling. Perhaps he had an unfortunate incident with a leek way back when, or someone called Boyo Evans stole his Beano.

No, Vam can take the blame for her own posts. like when she said I understand that his polling numbers have fallen but can't understand why. But why can't she understand the simple fact that the American people the voters who are affected by this idiots policies have no confidence in him. And yet we are being told that he will still win the next election?
He's not planning on doing any debates nor Rallies but the msm has decided to to tell America and the world that he's a shoo-in to win in 2024.

The word ‘blame’ is doing a lot of work here To be clear, I stand by my opinions, which are based on what I see/read with my own eyes, and hear in real time with my own ears (and by no means not just from MSM, btw).
Like countless folks the whole world over, I look in from afar at the total clusterfuck going on in the US. Are you suggesting I’m not entitled to comment on that as I see it?
BUT, as I said to Maddog, I will always respect the views of the American people who are experiencing the day-to-day reality of living with the repercussions of ‘Bidenomics’. My opinions are worth jackshit, in comparison.
I still firmly believe that the GOP, and especially the MAGA faction, have morphed into a motley bunch of gutless, treacherous fascists, though.

I don't think anyone thinks he's a shoe in. But, the same polls that have him down in favorablilty, have him still beating Trump.
And Trump hasn't gone to trial yet.
Now, this election can still get interesting depending on how 3rd parties do.
And of course, we don't know that Biden or Trump will be the nominees. They are both old as dirt, and one may be in prison.

Is it not good to have people with strong opposing opinions on forums?
To all agree, it turns into a Stepford forum, to throw insults and abuse around turns it into a Dogs type forum..
In my opinion we have it right here...we can discuss, not aiways agree, but, apart from in Whine, it's never nasty.
Defunct Newsfix forum had it right too.
