A word to the wise on here don't bother arguing with Rollup. Despite continuing global warming he's of the firm belief we entered a cooling phase last year. He will use spurious arguments like a cold current off Greenland or the fact it's snowing where he lives to back it up - nothing will shake his belief so there's no point even trying.
Yeah I have realised this - strange how he forgets to mention their official climate change site - one section of which is this!

No one is disputing that

This is such a relaxing video to watch.
Although the strange species seen at 0.27 has never been identified.

That statement shows you know absolutely nothing about what you are talking about.
Try reading all the articles on the NASA site as to how massive the effects of a global rise of one degree are - climate is very different to local weather.
But you won't as all of the highly qualified scientists, meteorologists and climatologists across the world who have spent decades studying this topic are wrong and you are right.

All scientists are not on the bandwagon it's why the whole thing is still debated in scientific circles.
I'm well aware thankyou of what a degree can do even two degrees.
This is one of the things NASA pointed out that is happening because of the slight CO2 increase ....
Carbon Dioxide Fertilization Greening Earth, Study Finds
Here's another article about that greening which was predicted a few generations ago by someone who talked of additional CO2 being added to the atmosphere .....
Back in 1908 Svante Arrhenius, a Nobel laureate and the father of the greenhouse theory, predicted something like this would happen. ‘By the influence of the increasing percentage of carbonic acid in the atmosphere, we may hope to enjoy ages with more equable and better climates,’ he wrote. The earth, he predicted, ‘will bring forth much more abundant crops than at present, for the benefit of rapidly propagating mankind’. This has proved to be the case. Environmentally, this is perhaps the best news you’ve
Around twelve hundred years ago there was something now known as the medieval warm period where we had around 1.5C higher than now and it resulted in more food more trees greater crop yields.
The Vikings were planting food and trees on Greenland but were finally driven off by the return of not just the cld but what is now known as the mini ice age.
Grapes were being grown along the English Scottish border and the terraces are still visited by tourists.
I don't have anything terrible in my archives to report about those higher temperatures.
Terrible things happened when the temperatures dropped of course crop failures across Europe famine disease etc.

If we could get temperatures back up about 1.5C through our actions back to medieval levels or Roman times levels I'd be happy to see quality grapes growing along Hadrian's wall once again and the excess winter deaths in the UK down.
The following article is two years old wouldn't it be nice to see less old people dying of cold less flu less deaths through winter asthma?
Some people seem frightened of going back to where we've been quite safely before.
How did we get there last time and the time before?
How did the biggest sand dune on the planet .... The Sahara desert turn in the short time period of five thousand years ago when it was jungle forest savanna hippos elephants crocodiles monkeys fresh water rivers and fish to what it is today?
The Sahara is the size of the USA what happened?
One theory is it became so cold there was no longer any rain and everything turned to dust.
Cold hot whatever theory proves right it wasn't my fault.
The Guardian article about the excess winter deaths >>
Looking like a bad one this winter.
Excess winter deaths in England and Wales highest since 1976 https://www.theguardian.com/society/2018/nov/30/excess-winter-deaths-in-england-and-wales-highest-since-1976

As for the lyrics of that little star Fenn - 'but they didn't say goodbye'.
Awww...sweet, apart from the first line.
