Leicester is now back in lockdown and a potential new Flu virus with Pandemic potential has just been discovered in China.
Not dangerous yet but highly concerning nonetheless.
Due to our destruction of the natural world and disgusting treatment of wild and domestic animals in general it has been predicted such events will become more and more common in the coming decades.

Why Leicester. Why does Leicester currently have 3 times more cases than the next highest place in the UK.
Clearly the authorities will be trying to get to the bottom of that question.

Better news. 54% of Hospital trusts haven't had any covid19 deaths occur in the last 7 days. 71 out of 131.

Try not to be too worried by this new flu in China, seeing some of the comments on DS it looks like they think its the end of the world but reading the article its a bit like swine flu and they think they have good enough vaccine's for it already which just need to be adapted. I would be shocked if this came of anything.
Just try and think even 3 months into this lockdown there are already better treatments for coronavirus. These treatments are likely to get better. There are vaccine programs as well that alot of scientists are confident for.
We will get through this, one day is one day closer to normality

You might be interested in the above. It gives the overall picture. People in Hospitals etc which incidentally has improved quite markedly even since the last daily briefing was on. Its good to get an overall picture rather that one or two statistics here and there. The overall picture can look more optimistic than one or two bits of data on their own.
