It was too cold to sit in a beer garden, instead we opted to go to the market centre and sit out with a coffee and a snack, the sun came out, it was great.
The majority of shops are now open, the market was bustling, people were just happy to be out and about once more and not walking round a ghost town.
Most people were sensible, I would say 50% wore masks....I did.

It should be remembered a fair number of those who think/know they are at least somewhat unhealthy. Or worse.
Are inevitably going to be fretting more about going out and about again. You've only gotta catch it once.
It's tricky. Probably best those people don't sprint out like Usian Bolt joining the likes of those groups of very eager folks we've seen on the TV News... :D

An American who understands sarcasm. Gotta be applauded. :D
Some out there right now are wasted

We passed a couple of beer gardens today, and the tables and chairs did seem spaced out very well.
The cafe bar we sat out at was very efficiently run, so I felt safe.
I think people have to make their own decisions on what is best for them, and like Twizzler, who doesn't feel ready to start getting out and about, I'm sure she will know when the time is right.
I do expect the infection/death rate to shoot up abit in 3 or 4 weeks, it's inevitable

That's what they said about Texas. Instead we kept dropping on both numbers.

Calm down Twiz.
Why will you be worrying about coming close to someone who hasn't had the vax.
I am not worried, because I won’t be going out mixing with anyone!
Twiz thousands of people have been working in supermarkets and lots of other places too.
If you lock yourself away from people and the grime of the world your immune system will wither away.
It could be years before you're ever going out again if you don't change your thinking.
Immune system is fucked anyway! When I venture out and start mixing with others, I will be cautious, and I will still wear my mask!
So chill Jack!
I'm chilled just concerned about you and trying to be helpful.
I know you are trying to be helpful and I will get there in the end. At the moment I am not
ready to be rushing out and mixing!

It was nice here around 3pm. The sun was out when we sat down. After an hour or so a huge cloud came, and I swear the temp dropped to about 5c.....we ate up and went shopping instead.

Hopefully that will happen here then.
In the last week 238 people have died with Covid in the UK.
I think that is the lowest figure we have had since the vaccination programme began.
