Mags wondered if Diana and Andrew had been involved.
Didn't Hewitt claim he had felt suicidal after it was made public he tried to flog her letters to the highest bidder...a good deflection when exposed as a love rat. He has also cooperated in writing a couple of books about their affair, not to mention given loads of interviews. Suicidal....I doubt it.
Just like Diana did

Diana didn't hawk herself around on reality TV shows to try to gain public popularity.
This classless act, teemed with another of society reject, sums up Hewitt's desperation ....he acts absolutely nothing like Diana.

You don't know what she might have done. She just didn't live long enough. There no class in snitching on people who trust you and bed hopping, or making sure the press knew your every good deed or fart. She should have taken a leaf out of Princess Anne's book of how to have real class. That woman has worked with no fanfare or paps following her around. She just knuckles down and does it with no expectation of kudos or adoration.

I agree about Princess Anne, she is brilliant.
Definately the best of the Queens children.
Comparing Diana to her is pointless...Diana had a very different hand dealt to her.

Ironic, isn't it, that Diana targeted married men after what Charles did to her. Knowing the intensity of pain it causes, she still went ahead and put other women through the same thing. It got so bad with Oliver Hoare that at one point she rang his home 300 times in one night. She confided to people close to her that she actually sat outside his home that night, so she could have the satisfaction of watching the lights go on each time she rang him. Just out of spite. In the end she dumped him because he wouldn't leave his wife.
I know most people think Diana was this wonderful saintly icon, but I think she was perfectly capable of being a scheming manipulative cow.

The Oliver Hoare episode was well documented, as was the Will Carling one. What wasn't documented so widely was the fact these men entered into relationships outside of marriage very willingly, it takes two to start a relationship. According to the wives and friends of these men, Diana was an all powerful siren leading the poor lambs astray....bollocks.
She acted very badly, and she admitted she had on more than one occasion. I dont think she ever wanted to be seen as a saintly icon, and I think the majority of people know full well she certainly wasn't.
It's odd tha. knowing how bad she could be, she is still thought of so fondly, both in her life and decades after her death.

She was a humanitarian, and had this ability to read people's emotions really well. That's a huge asset, and what she was best at. I don't doubt she genuinely cared for people worse off than her, and I think she was a good mother. I just don't subscribe to the belief she was blameless for what went on towards the end of the marriage. She was totally abused at the beginning, and got her revenge several times over but wouldn't leave it alone.
Yes, it does take two. So by that yardstick, Charles is not wholly to blame for cheating on his wife. I think had Camilla backed off and left Charles alone, and told him to make his marriage work, he and Diana might just have had a fighting chance. As it was he married a girl whose only reading material was Barbara Cartland novels. She bored him to death. And she couldn't muster enthusiasm for his lifestyle and interests. Charles was a lot older in his head than his years, so that didn't help either. Sadly, by the time Diana realised the mistakes she'd made and had matured a bit, the Queen ordered the divorce.
But hell, you can't hold grudges. The old saying
Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.
...is so true.

He used her from the start, she was a young girl in love, unbeknown to her, chosen to provide him with a heir and a spare....preferably boys, which she did.
Had he been faithful she probably wouldn't have looked at other men, but it soon became clear he loved another woman, always had, she found proof of this on her honeymoon....something he has always lied about.
She was in a horrible position, she couldn't walk away and take her kids, she was trapped. It was obviously a very toxic relationship for years, they both acted horribly....those TV interviews were horrendous, no wonder the Queen stepped in. She was branded mentally ill by his 'camp'....she even feared for her life, and as things unfolded, maybe she was right.
It does seem ironic, that when she found happiness, her fears from a decade before came true.

National records of Scotland are being accused of 'flouting the law' by not allowing people to access Her Majesty's death certificate.
Had her Majesty passed away down south this information would be private because the official cause of death registration act of 1836 doesn't apply to Monarch's but because she died here, people can find out her cause of death, where she died and at what time.
Royal Biographer Angela Levin has accused the Scottish Government and The National Records Of Scotland of flouting the law.
The death of her Majesty was registered in Aberdeen on the 16th of September.
Some people think failure to do this could lead to conspiracy theories.
That should shut some folk up, her Majesty died of old age and passed away at 15:10 pm.

That seems to be an odd thing to put on a birth certificate - surely just being old can't kill you?

It's private tbh, so should stay that way. Dying of old age is a thing, as their body breaks down.

She most likely had organ failure caused by old age. I doubt she had an autopsy, though they would have embalmed her.

Old age should only be given as the sole cause of death in very limited circumstances. These are that:
1...You have personally cared for the deceased over a long period (years, or many months)
2...You have observed a gradual decline in your patient's general health and functioning
3...You are not aware of any identifiable disease or injury that contributed to the death
4...You are certain that there is no reason that the death should be reported to the coroner
Number2 would apply,

I know she was old but she seemed to go downhill rapidly after Prince Philip died and what with the Andrew, Harry and Meghan business, maybe she lost her spirit for the will to live anymore.
Anyway............at least she can RIP. :)
