The Khelif controversy is a tricky one. It seems to boil down to is s/he a him or a her. And that seems to depend on whether you base it on his/her registered sex at birth (female, I believe (s)he had/has female genitalia) or if you base it on the latest genetic test that shows XY (male) chromosomes. In the end it probably doesn't matter which pigeonhole you use, if someone has male chromosomes they shouldn't be fighting women.
What’s tricky about it? He never went through with an appeal re a previous banning, hasn’t gone through with his threat of suing those who claimed he was male and now hasn’t taken a swab to determine his true sex…does that sound like a bona fide female fighting for her right to fight? He has had every chance to prove his sex.
And I agree no bloke should be fighting females, in the past, now or in the future.

Like I said he’s had chances to determine his sex, it has nothing to do with what he was registered at birth as / how he identifies, lived his life as / having “f” on his passport…a simple non intrusive swab test would prove what sex he is. Nothing tricky about that imo.

The law is still wishy washy on this. Clearer guidelines need to be set.
For eg, trans people visiting parliament (where this latest row blew up) are expected to use the gender-neutral toilets, but trans women who work there can still use the female toilets.
