What I don't understand is as the Anon pointed out below your original post Farage has also used loopholes to avoid paying the correct stamp duty. Why is no body in the media outraged about that??
As for him being happy to have a man who beat up his girlfriend being a member of Reform and then citing he wants to protect "women and children" ..If ANYONE else in the public eye behaved like this they would be persona non grata.
He even wants to pay Afghanistan to take back women and children refugees ..so his concern for women doesn't stretch too far them because I think we all know the fate of those poor women. Vam, it honestly feels to me like the world has gone mad.
Sadly when times are tough people look for scapegoats, it's then that populist right wing factions like Reform gain support. It's been the same throughout history, a particular theme being a shared animosity towards minority groups especially ethnic minorities as we're seeing now.
It staggers me to see Reform way ahead in the polls at the moment, I can only hope that when it comes to the next general election we won't see the same mistake made as when they voted for the Brexit disaster.

For a woman who likes to think she leaves her family out of the headlines, it's not the first time she has brought them up publicly when people have accused her (nothing to do with them) of acting inappropriately.
I don't think it was in bad taste to discuss her son when interviewed. Reason being she had to provide all the details of her situation to the board evaluating her conduct which would inevitably have made her son's condition public .So it would have been odd if she had refused to discuss him when asked.
Do I think she was hoping to gain sympathy when the public discovered her son was disabled? Yes I do and possibly that was not morally sound. I think it was all a genuine oversight on her behalf, however considering her rather ironic role in government she really should have left nothing to chance.
Syl, I don't know if you plan to vote Reform and it's none of my business in any event. But you know how Farage intends to abolish the human rights act to return migrants (which we cannot do because of Brexit of which he was the figurehead). His plans genuinely include attempting to give money to Afghanistan to return women and children refugees to the Taliban.
He has cited his admiration for Putin, a dangerous dictator, has used a loophole to avoid paying the correct amount of stamp duty and worse to my mind had no problem having an MP in his party who had beaten up his ex girlfriend, an offence I believe he was arrested for. Farage has a duty to tell the public this information but he didn't until it was exposed.
You know I hold you in high regard. Would you mind please explaining why firstly Farage is not condemned and held to.account for this litany of flawed reasoning and behaviour the way other MP's (like Raynor)are and also try to explain why so many people want him as PM of the UK in light of what I consider disturbing knowledge about the man and his mindset?
Sorry for the long posts of late but I cannot fathom why people seem in awe of him and don't hold him to account the way his peers (quite rightly )are and I knowyou will give a fair minded answer x

Well thanks Fluffy, I can only give my own opinion, and tbh, I don't know as much about Farage and his wrongdoings as you do, but I'm sure everything you have said is fact.
I personally can't stand the man, he just spouts what he thinks people want to hear, mainly about immigration. He did the same before Brexit....then buggered off for years and didn't face the consequences when we left.
I do believe he will be next PM, because people are desperate for change, which we badly need, but he and his party won't be the ones to make the country better, not for the majority anyway.
My view on the Angela Raynor interview, imo she mentioned her disabled son as a last ditch attempt to gain some public sympathy. She used him, and also the firms that she said gave her wrong advice, (which according to them was a lie) to worm her way out of the fact she did try to get away with paying the proper tax on the property....something she has castigated others loudly for in the past.
She would have done better to simply resign, then no public heart-rending speech would have been necessary.

Girls as young as 12 and 13, groomed and raped by men old enough to be their grandads....yet in his opinion, they are the trash.
Well he is right to stand down and is a disgusting waste of space. However men of all ethnicities hurt women and children in.Britain. Stats show you are correct, "Gangs' are mostly of Pakistani origin who are born in Britain. But the man most likely to abuse overall (alone whether it be his his own daughter or another minor of either gender) is white. Most sexual offenders in.The UK are white British males.
There is a bloke in Reform arrested for beating up his wife and Farage didn't want that info to be released to the public. I wouldn't want a man like that running the country but I accept that's just my personal view.
I hope the Reform member was sacked but I have no idea, he would certainly still be a member if the public were not privy to the truth.

Fluffy, the highlighted text in your post is correct, but when you look at the % of white British population to the rest of the population here, it's not surprising.
May 21, 2024 — According to the 2021 Census, 81.7% of the population of England and Wales was white, 9.3% Asian, 4.0% black, 2.9% mixed and 2.1% from other ethnic groups.
It is surprising in a way because the narrative the media implies is that non white men non British men overwhelmingly abuse youngsters more than white men.
The police however cite that usually the abuser is sadly known to the children which makes it all the more heartbreaking. The predators are in the home, family members or friends of the family, uncles and stepfather's.
For this reason much of the sexual abuse white men are responsible for is not included in the stats as children don't always feel able to report it as it would destroy the family and they are beyond frightened., Many thankfully do contact services such as Childline but are consequently not believed by their own family. The case can also get dropped before going to trial because the trauma of the child going to court and reliving their loved one's abuse is just too much. There is a myriad of reasons for lack of convictions.
I have always maintained that Muslim men do not view women or female children as equal to themselves(especially Western women) and obviously that mentality is on a collision course with the West and our innately held values. But most of the time the predatory behaviour is committed within the home by a man known to the child and the repercussions of speaking out is why the majority of these men are not punished..
Whereas strangers who groom or abuse children are are reported far more frequently.

I think we have to get real. We can't save the entire world. Every Tom, Dick and Mohammed is a persecuted being citing death should they be forced to return to their country of origin. All these illegal migrants are not coming from a war torn country. They are coming from France. So perhaps this is what's needed, this threat of deportation that might entail some actually being deported in order to deter the rest and make them think twice about coming here.
I'm telling you, this country will be destroyed from the inside out by Islam if we don't wake up. Not right now. But in a decade or so. You may think that's nonsense. You may believe all these male fighting aged men are just victims. Perhaps some of them are. But I'm telling you they will be salted with Islamists, sleeping soldiers who will rise against us. I have a friend who's in the army. I asked her about this, about what will be the worse case scenario and how long it might take to overwhelm us should this ever happen. She said it's something that is talked about within the army. That it would take just 24 hours to slaughter people in the streets and in their homes if the numbers of Islamists were large enough and organised enough.
Next time you watch a boatload of these men run along the the beach, observe how many of them move. They run like trained soldiers.
And if you think I'm talking shit, remind yourself about the Yugoslav wars. History has a way of repeating itself. It seems to go in cycles. Because we get complacent. And we forget.
Muslim historian Firishta was the first to give an idea of the medieval bloodbath that was India during Muslim rule, when he declared that over 400 million Hindus got slaughtered during the Muslim invasion and occupation of India.
Survivors got enslaved and castrated. India’s population is said to have been around 600 million at the time.

Biden reversed his immigration policy towards the end, but he just looked flaky when he did that. Way too little, too late..

If they manage to move these illegals (how many will disappear onto the streets upon hearing this?) into strategically placed barracks sited throughout the UK what’s happening to the multi million £s already paid out to hotel owners for the next x number of years, simply written off? Human rights lawyers will be rubbing their hands in glee. Who is going to control/police these sites, will it be down to shady security companies à la hotels? The One in One out big deal that lefty sites such as the BBC lauded was clearly a non-starter and just a form of empty virtual signalling wasting time and effort on dressage rather than actually tacking the issue. As someone noted elsewhere since 2010 we have had 13 million new immigrants into the UK but this has largely gone under the radar rapidly changing the nature of many areas of the UK. Now the nation is being crippled by the weight of these new additions and there is no let up. Net "migration" is often quoted but the people leaving or in general of a different nature to those coming in. Hence up and down the nation more and more Mosques are being built.

"Tube strikes unleash 'pure carnage' on London: Commuter fury as drivers on up to £72K-a-year walkout in pay row - shutting the underground and bringing the capital to a standstill"
"Tube staff have launched a full walkout this morning in an RMT-led row with Transport for London (TfL) over pay and conditions, plunging the capital into travel chaos. The union had demanded that its workers receive a boost to their pay packets, believed to be around £72,000 per year, as well as a reduction from a 35 hour working week to a four-day, 32 hour system. They have also demanded that members receive a 75 per cent discount on all rail travel, despite already receiving benefits which entitle their loved ones to free travel across the entire London public transport system".

“ A High Court judge has sparked outrage after wishing 'all the best' to the convicted terrorist behind the 7/7Londonbombings as he prepares to be released back into the community.
Sir Robert Jay made the comments during a hearing involving Haroon Aswat, 50, who is due to leave a psychiatric hospital and return to live with family in Batley, West Yorkshire.
Aswat, an al-Qaeda extremist, has admitted his role in the 2005 attack that left 52 dead, and even claimed he helped mastermind the 9/11 atrocity in the US.
Despite this, and despite warnings from counter-terror police, he is expected to walk free without any GPS monitoring or ankle tag because of a legal loophole that prevents surveillance of psychiatric patients.
High Court documents show that probation officials refused to carry out a risk assessment due to rules that prevent checks on psychiatric patients.
That decision left senior police deeply concerned.
Detective Chief Superintendent Gareth Rees of the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command told the court: 'He has spoken positively of his time with al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and expressed aspirations to reconnect with them.
