BTW Maddog, Texas Hold em is No 1 in your country too.
Here you are, have another listen, it's good. x
It's Beyonce. She's had plenty of number ones.
Same as Taylor Swift..
Yes she has, never singing country though.
Taylor has about 9 country #1 songs.
She came up through the country ranks and switched to pop music several years ago.
She was one of the artists that created the latest revival in pop country.
She has moved on to where she really belongs. The pop music world. Her and Beyonce should do a duet. I'm sure they could sing the phone book and take it to #1..

I meant Beyonce hasn't sung country.
I am no fan of hers, I think she is far to up herself, but honestly, if she was white, grew up in the poor farmlands of back Tennesee, and 'Texas Hold em' was her first record....you Country music lovin folk would probably be raving about her.

I don't get why people talk pop music down.
What we now call classical music was once popular music but there's a snobbery in musical tastes.
You must be lacking if you don't like what I like.
I don't like most old style country music and old style folk music but that doesn't make them bad... they just are!

I don't like any pop country..
Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Florida Georgia Line. All have had number ones. I have no use for them.
And the folks that do, already like Beyonce
Nashville and mainstream country have ruined the genre.
That's why so many people now support the alternative.

I'm not telling people what to like.
Just don't say Beyonce is making Celtic music because she trots out a bagpipe player.

This group remakes songs into a completely different genre.
They have some good stuff.

I love that, very retro.
We have a girl here, she is all over the place lately, writes and produces her own material....a bit Amy Winehouse, but she varies her style quite a lot too.

She does remind me of Amy Winehouse.
I'm so out of the loop that I didn't know who Amy was until she died.

I saw Corb a few months ago and he swears this is a true story.
If you ever take edibles this can happen to you. Especially the Sativa strain of the Devils Lettuce.
So if you ever go to Colorado, beware......😉

Its popular in a lot of places because they have pop artists fusing pop music with country music.
Seems like the country music executives do this push about every 10 years because it sells a lot. Then the purists push back and we get a traditional resurgence.
I've never heard of this girl. She's cute and has a nice voice..

Molly is an interesting girl. She's a bluegrass singer from California (not a hot bed for that genre) . She's won numerous awards for ability to play guitar. She also has that disease where she can't grow hair and wears wigs.
She can hang with anyone on most stringed instruments..
