I explained the appt had been cancelled but now that I was able to let him in he may as well do his inspection only to then be told that he had just cancelled the appt (hence the 2nd note) and to make another one.

I later listened to phone messages, “utility inspector has tried to gain access”. I phoned the utility place and they didn’t know about my cancellation the day before (although they confirmed it was the same appt department).

The parting ”enjoy the rest of your day” did nothing to lighten my mood.

 That's horrible, so many company departments don't seem to communicate with one another, very annoying and frustrating for the customer.

Hopefully you will feel better soon. If you are alone it must be rotten when you feel so ill.

I was mad  for about a minute, then I just got irritated..Dealing with tow trucks,  insurance companies and car rental places..

My truck is paid for and I really don't want to buy another right now..Hopefully the insurance company will repair it and not total it..
