If this goes ahead...it could be the end of the conflict, for now at least.
My thoughts are Trump deserves some credit, will take all credit, be hailed by his supporters as the peace giver of all times....then I think he will either die (he looks and sounds ill) or retire, being remembered as the greatest POTUS that ever drew breath.
It will be a wonderful achievement to have peace, finally in Gaza!
Trump did well, credit where credit is due. He could win the Peace Prize, why not.
It’s great to hear the remaining hostages will be released.
And yeah, I guess he deserves some credit for whatever part he might have played in this early phase of the ceasefire agreement. The cynical part of me cant help grinning at the timing of it all though - on the eve of the Nobel winner being announced.
Also, per multiple news reports, Israel are still bombing Gaza to this very day.

Trump has certainly campaigned for himself to get the peace prize, and I agree, the timing is very suspect.
I hope he doesn't bully his way into getting the honour....I suspect he might have.
Tbh to achieve what everyone thought was unachievable, he deserves it.

Mother Theresa won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Milei's economic policy has reversed decades of incompetency. Obviously it will require outside investment to turn around decades of fiscal stupidity.
