The sword belonging to William Wallace which is 5ft 4In
William was between 6ft 5In and 6ft 7in
Sadly when the English were finished with him, he was a lot smaller.
😥

I'm this country witches were hanged not burned at stake. Burnings happened mainly for treason for women, religion in Tudor days, punishment etc.
Yes woman accused of being a witch were tied to a ducking stool,. If she drowned she was innocent, if she didn't or floated she was guilty, then hanged. Poor women.

It was terrible back in those days Mags.
I read crime magazines each month and granted the punishments today in some cases are too lenient but back then it was way over the top.

A murder trial opened today in Scotland.
A man is accused of sexually assaulting and killing his 16 year old sister.
20 year old Connor Gibson denies murdering 16 year old Amber.
45 year old Stephen Corrigan is also on trial with Gibson and it's alleged he found Amber's body but instead of phoning the police, he sexually abused her body and then hid it.

Eastenders could be getting the axe after viewing figures dropped to an all time low.
I like a good series, the old's one's are the best, I've ordered London's Burning.
Buy them all second hand, a lot cheaper but quality is just as good.

It was good at the beginning but lost it's way a long time ago and now bringing back folk from the dead.
They've just spent £87 million of the BBC licence fee or thereabouts on doing up the set.

Corrie is still OK...not as good as the 20 year old Corrie classic that's being shown now.
Richard Hillman is just about to attempt to murder Gail and her family. by driving into Salford Quays with them tied up in the back of the car...very interesting.
😲 God she's thick. Can't believe it.
I'm going shopping with my mother today.
I haven't been shopping with her for years, but my dad is recuperating and needs must.
He's watching Shorty.
Last time he did that he nearly had a nervous breakdown.
