Will be spending lots of time on the coast in Wales, we are selling up at the end of the year, so we will make the most of it...specially if the weather stays so good.

We are off to the Norfolk Broads in a couple of weeks and we are looking to book something soon for September. I think we will probably go to Dorset. I am also hoping to fit in a long weekend in Oxford to meet up with my old school friend but don't need to book anything for that as I can stay with her. We don't normally have two holidays but as we didn't get a holiday last year, we decided to make up for it this year.

The Norfolk Broads are lovely in summer, I have only been once, but we always said we would go back again and stay longer.
I think if the weather is good there is nowhere more beautiful than many places in the UK.
Sounds like you are going to have a great summer.

Nowhere of importance this year; got two things stopping us from getting away.

Thank you Syl. We are looking forward to it. The Welsh coast sounds good too.
The weather is the only thing with holidaying in the UK. We once went to Cornwall for two weeks in August. The first week was great but the second week it rained non-stop!

Yes, the weather is the big drawback here....though so far this year its been lovely.
We always went to Newquay when our on was young Tee...and travelled all round Cornwall every summer. Its fabulous when the weather is good...a bloody nightmare when it isn't.

Cornwall is nice. We use to go to Falmouth.
I think this nice weather is encouraging more people to holiday in the UK rather than abroad because most people I know who are going away are staying in the UK. Or perhaps people have just got fed up with the flight delays and stuff.

At the mo we have one little terrorist dog to consider, so we have to go on holiday and take his Nibs with us. He's good fun though.

You would feel right at home in Wales, it seems everyone but us has at least one dog with them, there are more dogs than kids in most places.

I am off next week and planning to visit my friend in Oxford. It is great that the weather has cooled down a bit but I hope next week isn't more rain :-(
