If you forget to log out on this forum it doesn't automatically log members out.
Why has it been set up that way?

There is no set up for that. You have to take responsibility yourself.
I have the opposite problem, my 'recent posts' is right next to my 'log out'...I am forever logging myself out when I dont want to.
If you forget to log out on this forum it doesn't automatically log members out.
