I live near the coast in north Wales and have this morning moved inside or the shed all garden furniture and children's toys. Though I live inland about half a mile from the sea, our house is in an exposed part and we have had our tiles blown off twice in 2019. What are you doing to prepare and will you be going out on Sunday? I will have to work from 11am until 4pm as I work in the local supermarket but don't really want to be out and about around that time.

We usually drive out for a late lunch with family on Sunday, if it's really bad we will probably give it a miss.
Apart from moving objects in the garden that may blow about we haven't done anything.....we have a torch and a few candles handy just in case (as has been on the local news) there may be power cuts.

Going storm chasing is something I'd love to do. Right through Kansas.

i walked to the corner shop for some bread the shop is about 7 minutes walk from my flat. Two large tress were down and communal bins had their lids blown open and their were bins all over the road near the shop and a branches littering the streets. It's going to get worse as this was just after ten today. We live on the 7th floor and have lived her for a good eight years and a few times gusts of wind hit our windows so hard we thought they were going to cave in.
my mum was coming over today she lives a few minutes walk away from our place and i've told her not to but we may go over in the car about five when things have calmed down a bit.

A few years ago we flew through thunder and lightning storm in Cyprus, it was quite fascinating, lots of screaming on board though.
