What will you do with all the time you have to spend cooped up?

I may write a book....or resume my card making....or catch up (by phone) with mates I have let friendships slide by over the years, the possibilities are endless.

My daughter and granddaughter are laid up for a week. Self isolating. Not sure if they have it, but my daughters job said take a week off, she's so rough. My granddaughter is worried because I said I'd go and look after them but if it is coronavirus, they're afraid I will get it much worse. Time will tell.

I'm sorry to hear that Mags, I hope they recover quickly.
It could just be the normal cold and cough bugs that are around this time of year, I bet lot's of people have no way of knowing if they are infected with the coronavirus or not unless they have been tested.
You try and keep yourself safe, x

I like my own company and I have plenty of hobbies and interests so self quarantine isn't a big deal.
Only thing that bothers me is getting isolated at work if any of the residents come down with it.

I'm hoping it's just the normal bug, but she sounds so rough. If she doesn't recover in a couple days I will go and stay there to look after them both. She doesn't live near me so can't just pop in and out. I'm concerned even though it could be nothing serious, but I do hope not the virus.

There are lots of regular colds etc going round, the trouble is everyone croaky with a sniff is now gets the coronavirus fears. Do they have the specific symptoms, ie raised temperature, dry cough - if they do they should call 111 for advice. It would be unwise for you to go stay there to look after them, if it's a case of them needing supplies is there a friend or neighbour who can get stuff in for them?
