I do think a lot of folks on forums have poor social skills. Or are at least introverted.
I wonder if forums actually help or hurt folks like that? It gives them an outlet to interact without leaving the house, which may or may not be a good thing.

Taking the OP seriously, I think you are right.
If a forum gives an introvert a platform to speak out, something they cant do in real life, well that's good.
As for it helping or hurting, that must depend on the sort of forums they join.
