Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, was arrested on Wednesday in his hometown of Antioch, Illinois and charged with first degree intentional homicide following the shooting death of two protesters
The complaint says the teenager 'fled the state of Wisconsin with the intent to avoid prosecution'
Rittenhouse was assigned a public defender in Illinois for a hearing on Friday upon his extradition to Wisconsin, where anyone 17 or older is recognized as an adult in the criminal justice system
Dramatic video captured the moment one victim was shot in the head and another was shot in the chest shortly before midnight on Tuesday. A third man was shot in the arm but he survived
The arrest of the teen came hours after video emerged of him walking up to police with his hands in the air and his rifle slung across his body after the shooting
He was apparently allowed to walk on despite members of the crowd yelling for him to be arrested because he had shot people, according to witness accounts and video footage
Footage from earlier in the night appeared to show the teen guarding a local car shop with a group of armed militia members
Another video showed police thanking an armed group, of which the teenager appeared to be part of, and offering them water
Much of Rittenhouse's Facebook is devoted to praising law enforcement, with references to Blue Lives Matter
News of his arrest came as President Trump said Wisconsin officials had accepted federal law enforcement support following several days of unrest across the city in the wake of Jacob Blake's shooting

One the face of it we look at this and think...how awful, innocent people being shot.
But the truth appears to be different.
Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, was the first one killed. Video allegedly shows him chasing teen shooter & throwing something at him. Rosenbaum was a registered sex offender for a sex crime involving a minor.
Anthony Huber, 26, was shot & killed in Kenosha, Wisc. at the BLM riot. He was filmed chasing down the armed teen and hitting him when he was on the ground with a skateboard. He has a criminal history that includes charges of battery & repeat domestic abuse.
The third who was shot (& survived) is Gaige Grosskreutz, 26. He's a member of the People’s Revolution Movement. He was filmed chasing after the teen w/a pistol. He was shot at close-range in the upper arm. He has a criminal record that includes being intoxicated & armed w/a gun
So you go out of your way to be prancing around in the thick of this shit, then you take your chances. I don't really have much sympathy with any of them. And this just highlights that a lot of these so called moralistic protesters are the type who love a ruck and indulge in violence, and are mostly there to stir up trouble. They paid the price. Tough shit.

Look at CNN, they constantly lie. A reporter stood in front of a burning building and stating it's a peaceful protest. The not reporting on the murder of the man in Seattle chop district.

You know whats nuts? There have been about a half dozen people killed during the recent riots. I think they were all white folks killed by other white folks. There is some weird irony in that.

That's very true. And this is what happens when the extremists step in and take up the banner. And this whole incident proves beyond doubt that violent types are behind most of the violence just for the sake of it. I don't think they give a shit about any moral stance.

I'd heard that former Alderman Kevin Mathewson had asked Militias for help after two nights of rioting as the police were doing nothing.
1000 thousand responded they were going with 4000 others showing an interest on his page. The guy that was shot in the arm was shown in some freeze framed shots to be holding an automatic pistol in his right hand when shot.
I would say the only mistake the kid made was. When on the ground he should have drawn his sidearm.
