The UK pays hundreds of thousands of ££££ every year to enter, that's hundreds of thousands more than the vast majority of other countries that enter...countries that laughingly vote for their neighbours no matter how dire their music is.
If you buy a TV licence....YOU are helping to fund this farce.
This was the best performance imo...very Edith Piaf like.
This was good too....

He was pretty decent. Definitely not the worst of the 26. Middle of the road maybe from what I saw.
I watch some of it. Forward parts. Some of the music is catchy and the staging is often decent. May be a guy thing it all looked good at least on my fairly large TV. lol

If you buy a TV licence you help fund it whether you watch it or not.

I predicted we would get 'Nul Points'.
It's become a running joke that no matter what the quality (or not) of the song/singer/group we enter we will always finish last or right near the bottom.
Freddie from Live Aid could not overcome the bias against us.
Not that it matters - it's always a vastly over the top camp load of kitsch shite anyway.

Same as you...I record it and whizz through the bits I don't like.
I thought the UK entry was pretty rubbish, but certainly not the worse entry.
Considering how good our music scene is you would think we could pick a better song, and possibly a better singer, though he seemed cheerful even when he came last.

Everybody hates us....even Ireland gave us nil points...bastards.

Seriously, that could do very well in Eurovision.

A good song. Send Robbie Williams or Elton John. Probably still get just a few points if we are lucky.

I doubt they would do it.
The days of sending our popular (at the time) singers there, like Cliff, Sandie Shaw, Lulu) are long gone.
Even when they dragged out poor old Englebert Humperdink to sing for us, he only just beat this years entry....he came last from the bottom.

James Newman puts on brave face as UK receives zero points in humiliating Eurovision result (msn.com)

I never watch that pile of unmitigated crap.

I'm seriously considering fucking it off.
