If you could what greats of any sport would you match together and who do you think would win at their very best?
I will get the ball rolling.
'58 Liston v '88 Tyson - who is the real 'Baddest man on the Planet'?
The Mafia and the Black Muslims are not allowed to fix the fight either.
This comes down to intimidation and all round boxing skill.
In my opinion actually quite similar to how Liston totally destroyed the huge and absolutely devastating puncher Cleveland Williams at his best - twice.
Sonny would stare right through Tyson at the Ref's instructions which would make him very uncomfortable from the start (after all he is used to people being frightened of him see Spinks, Bruno and many others), after the faster Mike lands his best combination shots and wins the first few rounds Liston does not blink so he starts to worry as Old Stoneface glares at him from the opposite corner.
Then Sonny's beautiful boxing and brutal jab along with his freak 84 inch reach and 15 inch fists gradually start to badly bust up Tyson, by round eight it's all over after a massive left hook crumples Mike to the canvas.
He bravely get up at eight but then is finished by a savage left right combination which leaves him stone cold out on the mat.
Millions of Tyson fanboys then burst into tears and begin to form ludicrous excuses.
Just my opinion.
What's yours?

I used to quite enjoy watching boxing. But I haven't a clue who is who apart from really famous ones.

Four Kings is fun - the last time a load of all time greats were in the same era.

My fantasy event would be Evonne Goolagong playing Eric Bristow at carpet bowls. I think Eric would win 21- 17.

Harold Abrahams v Linford Christie.
Harold with access to modern training, tracks and equipment.
Harold wins by about a foot.

Well done to Oleksandr who kicked the living shit out of Joshua tonight.
Beautiful boxing performance from the undefeated new champ and former Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion.
If Tyson shuts up Wilder's big gob again in a few weeks then a matchup for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship will be a technical boxing fan's dream.
BLM will not be pleased either which is a huge bonus.

I'm glad the racist lost. I will never forgive him telling BLM to not buy in a white man's shop! White men made him! He's too far up his own arse! Karma is great!

Tyson had his number.
"I’m sure he’s apologized if he’s offended anybody — oh he actually didn’t, did he," Fury said. "He actually said if you didn’t like what I said, go fuck yourself. So no apology necessary. Let’s just say, I’m not pushing knives in or pushing anybody when they’re down but if it had been me who said it, 'Don’t shop in any black-owned stores or any Asian owned stores' or anything, or don’t buy from their businesses, then I’d have been crucified like Jesus Christ. I’ll just say that."
