Cars queuing round the block, greedy people taking Jerry cans to get more. Don't they realise by next week it will all return to normal, and if it doesnt, theres always a bus. I won't buy into this.

Idiotic press has been telling us for days not to panic buy, so obviously people rush out to....panic buy, and that has caused the shortage.
We were going to fill up yesterday, (because we need petrol not to panic buy) huge queue at Sainsbury's. We didn't bother, OH went out today to THREE garages, all sold out.
The idiots taking jerry cans should be refused, yesterday a garage here was limiting petrol to £30.

I suppose it's because by definition half of the population is below average intelligence and thus act like the press is the font of all Knowledge and follow everything they say as Gospel.
Just an idea.

Bloody sheep...the toilet roll fiasco last year proved that.

Yes it does, wait til the shelves empty now. I swear the fear factor is done on purpose to make people panic so they can get rid of old stock. This has happened too many times over the tears, so used to it now.
I feel for people who genuinely need petrol and can't get it because greedy bastards have filled up cars and Jerry cans even when they don't need it!

This is the reason Joshua lost - he ran out of gas!

So there is now a fuel shortage at the pumps - caused entirely by the panic buying.
FFS.
Given the fact you are right and some people don't have a brain, the petrol stations should have limited the amount people could buy days ago.
Yes definitely Syl, but they're only interested in the money, they made a killing these last few days.
You can guarantee that some will always take advantage of a crisis.
Some put their prices up here to £1,60 a litre.
I will never understand how stupid many people can be.
It hurts my mind.
