This a rather fascinating. The way they walk and turn is choreographed but very elegant. They don't stand for shit, and rightly so

I find it all a bit, well, sort of silly.

They are similar to the Kings guard here, highly trained soldiers, and there are videos of how they can react if someone gets too close or tries to make fun of them.
If a Guard laughs or is distracted whilst on duty, they can be severely disciplined and fined.

Look at how they treat their veterans - many of them are homeless suffering from post traumatic stress.
The tomb of the Unknown Soldier is not representative of living soldiers but dead ones.
They should focus on the neglected living rather than a ritualized ceremony in front of a pile of marble bricks. Personally I find it silly, wasteful of resources and it hides the fact that they mistreat their veterans and have destroyed societies and killed people abroad in order to extend "American interests".

The US spends nearly 300 billion per year on veterans. Not active duty, but veterans.
They are not mistreated. They may have problems, but those can't always be solved by anyone except the one suffering the problem.

As for that pile of bricks, inside lies what I would call a kid. Likely killed in France, over 100 years ago. Should that kid have died in another stupid European war? I'd say no, as the folks that killed him really didn't attack us.
But he answered the call, like millions of others, and paid the ultimate price like thousands of others.
It's not like the tomb holds the body of a politician that marched him off to his death. A politician old enough to know better.

Maddog, this poster is obviously trying there best to get you to react. They obviously can't post as their self because they'd get an instant ban. I think it's someone missing you from dogs. Ignore the little prick

They don't bother me. I'm confident in what I post, and how it's interpreted.
