This question, posted 3 days ago on Mumsnet, already has almost 400 replies. From what I have seen, most people are happy to divulge their savings to complete strangers online...very odd.

Yes, we both found that out once.

When we first married, I had a £5 in my Halifax Building Society savings account.
I was quite proud of that...till I got a letter saying because it was such a small amount, and because I hadn't used the account....they were closing it.

A recent Mumsnet thread was...
A mother asked was she right to be annoyed because her 12 year old had a sleepover, and one of her friends, had brought alcohol with her.
Why do some people have to ask complete strangers their opinion, before they feel able to express their own?

It's because lots of these questions are made up like in the problem page

Not so sure they are made up tbh.
My very brief time on there seemed to rile up quite a few of the regular posters. Why would women get their knickers in a twist if they were not genuine questions and threads?

No doubt some of them are, but I also think some of the posters are genuine.
In any case, it makes our Agony Column here see very tame in comparison.
One trending thread at the moment...
"There was a knock on the door tonight, it was the police calling for my husband. It turns out he's sent inappropriate pictures to a relative of his (dick pics basically).
Before this night he was the perfect husband and best friend. I trusted him 100%. His relative has form for making false allegations as she has serious mental health issues but he admitted he actually did this. I'm she'll shocked, traumatised. There's no proof apparently so police only wanted a word (I listened in and could hear that much) but what the fuck do I do?"

I mean, what would you do if your 'perfect' husband, father of your baby girl, had done something like this?
It certainly makes you think.

God knows why any man would think a female family member would welcome an unasked for pic of his dick.
Aren't men silly.

Out the door. It starts off like this and when that's not enough titillation for him, he may take to flashing in public. I mean, basically, this is the same as exposing yourself to females in public.... the fact that he, or any man, thinks his last turkey on the shelf genitals might drive a woman wild with lust would be laughable if it weren't so dangerous.
