One of the funniest TV comedy series of all time, brought back to life, written by John Cleese and his daughter, and still starring Cleese.
But the fabulous Sybil, Connie and Manwell are either passed, or not acting now.
Plus, humour has changed so much since the 70's, in this pc world, most of the humour rgat made the show so origional back in the day, just wouldn't be allowed on TV now.
So, imo, Fawlty towers should RIP, we can always watch the repeats.

I think let it stay in the past. It was great and funny for its time, but some have died and some very old. No, let's remember it fondly from the day.

I've never seen it, but I bet Cleese is doing this to take one last swipe at the woke mob.

Only 12 half hour episodes were ever made, apparently it was shown in the US, and it was very popular.
I have read that Cleese isn't happy about the large amount of alimony he has to pay...maybe that's another reason why he has decided to write and star in more episodes.

Well, I'm guessing there won't be any goose stepping going on.

Odd how times change...the BBC won't allow shows like Fawlty towers to be shown again, but they are forever pushing the ridiculous Sam Smiths songs, where his videos are obsessed with homosexual, fetish driven orgies, whilst he preens around in nipple tassels, fondling bare arses and squeezing his massive bulk into corsets and leather hot pants.
Hypocrisy.

This is why I loathe the BBC.

Sadly, yes. I don't think there's a way out of it.

Good name....they should change it, it suits them.
