She was a true legend.
A woman of great substance, who was a role model for millions, both publicly and privately.
RIP the very wonderful Tina. xxx.

Tina Turner had one of the best voices ever and was a true legend.
Her "Simply the Best' song is the song Rangers run out on to the pitch at Ibrox too.
It became the club anthem in the 90's
" What's love got to do with it" is another classic!!
Sad news.

Tina overcame so much in her life to be where she was.
I personally think she's one of the best girl singers ever! I was a fan from a kid when first heard River Deep Mountain High.
Fly high Tina xx

I loved her from first hearing that too.
Through the decades, she just got better and better in her professional life.
Her personal life was so hard....but she escaped the hardships and found happiness eventually.
She had 4 sons, two adopted and two she gave birth to...sadly both her biological children dies before she did.
She is with them now.

Her, Dusty, Diana Ross and Cher, were my favs from a kid and still are. Sadly 2 left.
Tina was a terrific entertainer and singer. Great legs too.

She was still putting on a 3 hour show, using the same energy she always did, when she was 70....and in 4'' heels too.
Amazing woman. x

She also had a bad back from Ike's abuse and hitting her. So to dance and perform in high heels is just amazing!

She came from a generation that just got on with it and dealt with what life chucks at you. Some clown on Twitter is saying she died without reparations.

Just watched Tina at the BBC.
Brilliant, not only her voice and her performances, but her style through the decades was pure class.
