According to the experts the oxygen runs out at 11 am on Thursday.
I don't think there's going to be a happy ending and I hope death was instant for the five people on-board.
Sitting in the dark, starving 12,500 feet below water, freezing cold, with urine and excrement floating by (The sub has no waste disposal unit) doesn't bare thinking about...

I read they paid £195,000 each for the experience.
A horrible way to die.

I get a tinge of anxiety just thinking about being stuck in a large beer can with 4 other people slowly running out of oxygen.
An implosion would be almost instant, but I think we would know if that happened, and that's doesn't appear to be what has happened ..

Victor 6000 is connected to a ship with a electromechanical cable which is 26,250 ft long and supplies 20kw of power.
Enough oxygen to keep 5 people breathing for 4 days.
…or…maybe enough oxygen to keep 1 person breathing for 20 days?
Can’t help but wonder if such a thing may have - even fleetingly - crossed their minds at some point. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

The nineteen year old lad is a student in Glasgow.
He goes to Strathclyde University.
He's been getting mentioned in Holyrood.

It’s hard not to assume any other outcome, sadly.
If they have died, I hope it was as a result of the sub imploding. At least then, their deaths would have been mercifully quick.

Someone on Twitter said they hoped those in the Submarine had remembered to record what was happening on their phones!!

Idiots on twitter!
They sent a robot sub down and found a lot of debris. Now sadly they say it must have imploded on the way down.

Well, that's probably better than the alternative of sitting there for days, likely going crazy, locked in a steel can..
Death would be almost instantaneous.
Obviously being rescued was the preferred outcome, but if that wasn't in the cards, whoosh, bang, lights out in two seconds ain't the worst way to go, even if it's far sooner than you like.

I agree, much better scenario than waiting to die. They wouldn't have known anything.

The Aunt of the nineteen year old lad who died said he was terrified about going in the Submarine and only went to keep his dad happy for Father's Day.

America, Britain, Canada and France are leading the rescue efforts.
He's been a busy man!! 🙄
what's Britain doing?
A 22 year old woman took some photos of the Submarine as it was ready to go down.
One of the crew members just before he went inside it.
