I have been eating the last few months with health in mind but beyond the normal healthy approach.
I have a recipe book called plates before pills written by a young Indian NHS doctor ewho developed a health problem but didn't want to take the prescibables because of possible side effects so he set about researching from a medicinal angle.
I decided to do similar on Google YouTube etc.
There's less bullshit and plain wrong stuff than we are often led to believe.
I now have fantastic blood pressure very good blood glucose levels and more energy.
Tonight I had a really tasty and healthy beef stew for my tea.
Talking about beef or chicken... lab grown stuff is now on sale in the USA not sure about here.
Some reports are saying it produces 25 times more CO2 then traditional farmed meat and guess who has his hand in there... Billy Gates!
WARNING ‼️

In America they now put tobacco like health warnings on their crisp packets! (Chips as they are known there).

I've been saying this for years. Our food in the UK took a down turn in the 1980s. The myth of low fat has done so much damage.
You are what you eat. And the microbiome is absolutely vital for your immune system.

I eat what is termed a Mediterranean diet. Lots of salads, fruit, Virgin olive oil, olives, balsamic, fresh bread, and mostly fish or chicken...scarcely red meat etc.
Unfortunately , I also love chocolate and a glass of wine too.
My diet could be healthier I suppose, but I only have one main meal a day, and I like to enjoy it.

I eat ever more healthily and take some supplements too but I do like my little bit of junk as well now and again like pot noodles!
Two a week also a bottle of whiskey a month.
I have packed in blood pressure meds and am fairing better with foods as opposed to drugs.
I have never taken diabetes meds so have had to keep an eye on my sugar intake. I lost control of my glucose levels over the lockdowns but now have better control than ever with a few spices.

Ever since I was ill with the stomach ulcer and losing all that blood I've been eating a more iron rich diet.
I don't drink or smoke but I can't resist a wee dod of cheese each day.
It's my weakness.

It says "keep out of the reach of children".
I guess it's harmful if you eat it like frosting? 🤷♂️
We all love food I'm sure.
