Obviously I don't know the content of the programme but I can't stand Russell Brand after that despicable thing him and Jonathan Ross did to Andrew Sachs.

Me neither, he is a whining fool.
He has changed his persona from a childish risqué comedian, to the bloody oracle, and oddly, lots fall for it.

I might watch this, thanks for the heads up.

I find Russell Brand a bit irritating and caustic and I cannot take too much of him, but there is no denying his quick wit and talent. He is becoming a strong critic against the establishment and for that reason I think some are out to get him.

He might not even be one of the people Dispatches is about to mention, he will look a bit of a fool if he isn't.

Exactly. And he has some pretty important folks on his show.
I think he's a little whacky but I appreciate people that shine bright lights on corruption and authoritarianism.
I can separate messages from messengers.

Sounds to me like the usual woke mob going after comedians who offend them. They have tried to cancel many US comedians, and succeeded with a few.
US comedians won't even step foot on a college campus, for fear of offending the whiney little fucks in their safe spaces.
This is just mainstream media engaging in more cancel culture bullshit.

Bet John Cleese gets mentioned in this piece.
He's not falling in line properly..

The content hasn't been revealed yet, it could be about their private lives...and Brand is known to have been very promiscuous in the past.
Maybe he has 10 kids he doesn't pay a penny for.

No one cares if he has 10 kids.
What people care about is comedians "punching down".
Russell is very outspoken. The Ministry of Truth doesn't appreciate that nonsense..
Anyway, here he is with Jack Dorsey, who created Twitter and admitted they dropped the ball in terms of fending off government influence.
Before he had Dorsey, he had RFK Jr and after Dorsey he had Tucker Carlson.
These are people who won't follow the script and people like Russell give them a platform.
That's not well received by those who insist on people following the script.

Anyone can have as many kids as they like, as long as they pay for them.
He seems to think the allegations (if he is one of the people about to be named) concern his private life, he is loudly proclaiming that though he has been very, very promiscuous, all his relationships have been consensual.
IF any women are prepared to speak out and claim they were not consensual...should a person not be named?,or are rapists, as long as they challenge societies rules, exempt from public disgrace?
Course, it could have nothing to do with him or his private life...we wont know till tonight.

So you think they found a woman that's willing to come forward 15 years later saying he got her drunk and had sex with her?
I'm sure they could.
The question is why do the creators of Dispatch care now?

What ever happened in regards to the rape allegations involving Julian Assange?
How influential is he right now?

Generally speaking, if a man forces a woman to have sex, he is guilty of rape.
If it was 15 years ago or last night...it's still rape.
Dispatches is a pretty well respected programme here, and thanks to Brand's rather hysterical ramblings oN social media today, I think it'll have a good audience tonight.

Do you think Assange raped anyone? He was accused by some folks in power of doing so.
I could be way off, but Brand has been very vocal about calling out mainstream media, while getting some fairly high profile people to agree with him. He's an absolute thorn in their side.
The "new" media people like him, are destroying what we call the dinosaur media.
The dinosaur media is trying to remain relevant. I think this is one way of doing it. Kill the messengers.
Is on Channel 4 tonight and is said to contain serious allegations about a well known star.
Quite a few names being mentioned and Russell Brand has already made a statement about them.
