There were some threatening clouds, it became overcast, there was some light rain, there was a bit of wind, but nothing out of the ordinary. There was no appearance of a storm. It wasn't stormy. Midlands.
News Headline: Storm Missing. Can anyone locate Agness?
Errors in Forecasting: could have followed a different trajectory, could have died out before reaching targets, may not have developed as predicted.

Nothing here, but I'm in the south. Rubbish weather reporting.

It's a form of scaremongering...all the reports about possible loss of life, stay home if possible, etc etc etc.
I got rid of the BBC weather ap ages ago. According to that, we have not had a dry day since last January.
I know I live in the NW, but even we get SOME dry days.

True. I don't believe the weather reports. Just look up and see what colour the sky is

Another big storm coming!
If this one doesn't show up some serious questions need to be asked.
That time of year again.
800 mile long storm about to hit with 80 mph winds.
Warnings about threat to life conditions from flying branches roof slates etc.
Charge whatever you have that can be charged power cuts expected.
Take care and look after each other...
Be safe Jack and all those affected.
Sat out and topped my tan up.
If the forecast is right you won't be doing that later today! (WED)
I know, we were going to Bradford, postponed it. Dont fancy driving back at tea time when it's set to hit.
Were you? What for ? x
Thanks Mags. x
It's slightly windy here and sunny and showers. no storm. At least not yet.
Darkened skies 4pm Llandudno and a humungus downpour for ten minutes and then clearing skies big rainbow and nothing since.
Storm in a teacup...at least in Manchester.
There was a tree blown over in Chester!!!!!
Did anyone see this storm?
