Best I can do you'll have to have a look for yourself based on that info I'm afraid.
The 'story' is a year old and has nothing to do with St George's day being "cancelled", it's just Jack being hysterical about nothing and stirring up hatred.
Oxford University college scraps St George’s Day event but will host Eid dinner
Banquet to mark end of Ramadan replaces formal celebration of England’s patron saint which ‘stretched back decades’
The first post would have had a link but I don't think it worked because it's a subscription job and I aint subscribed.
The story is about it happening last year and this year.
That's what would have been up for discussion.
If this thread needs binning ADMIN I understand as it turned out to be a disaster. Like I said the failure of the link I think is related to the fact I'm not subscribed to the Express.

When people want to celebrate St George's Day with a parade they are kettled by the police and met with a wall of police. When they want to celebrate St Patrick's Day the police dress up in green st paddy costumes and dance with them. When people want to march for LGBTQ+ the police put on fairy costumes and lipsticks and parade with them. When people want to march for Palestine the police arrest Jews.

Just start a movement stating St George would have supported Hamas, and everything will be fine..😉

Footage released by the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) last Friday showed its chief executive, Gideon Falter, being told by a police officer that his “openly Jewish” appearance risked antagonising pro-Palestinian marchers. This precipitated claims Falter was prevented from going about his business simply because he was a Jewish man in the vicinity of a pro-Palestinian demonstration.
But a longer version of the same exchange has since emerged on Sky News, showing the officer explaining that his concern was that he had seen Falter acting in a way that led him to believe he was trying to provoke a confrontation with marchers.
That fuller account showed “a totally different encounter to the one that Mr Falter has reported”, said the former Scotland Yard chief superintendent Dal Babu on Monday.
forget it it keeps going crazy!
