I know I do, but I love all of my grandkids so I keep it a secret. Ive tried so hard not too have favourites but I can’t help it.
My worry is that it’s obvious / they can see through it. My mum always had favourites and so did my gran, and they never hid it, but I think that was bloody awful.
What go you think ?

No, I could never have a favourite grandchild nor did I with my kids.
I don't love or favour one more than the other, I love them all the same, which is immeasurable.

I think you are right to keep it secret.
I suppose if you have two kids/grandkids, and one is good natured and the other is not, it's normal to feel closer to the nicer one.
Love is dfferent, I don't think it can be measured the same way as 'like' can.
