Most forums have been and gone, or are on the brink of going 'allegedly', so when they are no more, who will you remember fondly....or not?

I will remember both you and Maddog fondly too. and Digger, we get on great nowadays.
Posters who no longer post, Micky definitely, he was a character for sure, NAA, I couldn't stand her, but she had some sort of presence, malevolent mostly.
The posters who tend to stay in my memory are the nice ones, Yankee, Beamglo, Major was a character, as was Ty, Someone who disappeared years ago, Mick in London, he was a nice man who cared for his sick wife....loads really.

Yep, both of them.
Abs had the patience of a saint when she did those quizzes, I think it was on Fens forum, Angry Monkey.

Also, when I first came on forums, a poster called Melfi impressed me, she was lovely.
I posted with her for 3 or 4 years, and I always found her to be intelligent, but more than that, she was warm.
I think warmth shines through when we post alongside people for a while, it cant be forced.

I'll remember you Madders, we've been posting together for about eighteen years.
We met back on SOL when I was Vicki33 and now I'm 51.
The ladies on here too, they've been very kind and I haven't forgotten how nice they were when I was very ill a few years ago.
I still think of Meg my buddy from SOL, we were the only Gers fans on there and former a nice friendship.
I hope he's doing okay.

I think Fresh Horizon was the most entertaining forum I've been on. And Micky takes credit for that. He was a bit of a blunderbuss wielding buffoon who shot himself in the foot over and over. But he ran the place pretty fairly and it was real laugh at times.
I fondly remember the Knee High Eye Tie, El Guapo, having an apoplexy when I suggested the only gear on an Italian tank was reverse. He took his drug dealing lothario roots so seriously. He hated it when I called him Toulouse.

I remember him vaguely, he was full of himself that's for sure.
I think Micky will be one of the main ones who people will remember. long after they stop posting.
Love him or hate him, he made three forums full of life....as soon as one went, he started another, I think the Mansion was the 2nd, FH was the last, and it was the horrendous Trop who managed to finish that one off.
Modding for Micky was hilarious at times, he would start trouble, more often than not unintentionally, then plead with one of the mods (usually Magica who had more patience than most ) to sort it out for him.

The Shoutbox on Fresh Horizon was hilarious, I had some of the best laughs on there, before it all went wrong.
Horrible Hickey, when she was a mod, would be waiting in there to delete every comment she didn't like, she was like a Gestapo when she was a mod....couldn't stand her.
Then there would be Major Starbald in the Shoutbox, asking everyone how he could get in there, even though he was already in. It was like a home for he confused sometimes.

Yes major was so funny. Some of the posters cracked me up. Micky used to say I'm here with my banning stick, then tell me to do the banning. If I did, he would backtrack and ask them back! We fell out, but now I remember him fondly. It's all in the past, we move on in life.
Me and Syl had such a good laugh in the shoutbox with our secret signs. Happy days

We did, and do you remember the short lived 'Bear Pit'?
Another brilliant time was when Poca, me and a couple of others were talking about a TV programme where a man had dressed up as a chicken trying to pimp out his obese girlfriend....some of the comments were hilarious, but like everything, you had to be there to really appreciate how funny it was.
