Nearly 2 million have signed for another election. I doubt that will happen but it might get rid of Starmer. The news and some papers are not reporting this.
I've signed. Just go to UK Gov. Petitions and sign If you care about what Starmer is doing to this country.

It's a frivolous misuse of the petition system. And will never lead to a debate in parliament. If you don't like this government your only way is to use your vote at the next election.

"Petitions which reach 100,000 signatures are almost always debated. But we may decide not to put a petition forward for debate if the issue has already been debated recently or there’s a debate scheduled for the near future. If that’s the case, we’ll tell you how you can find out more about parliamentary debates on the issue raised by your petition."

The petition system is there to call for debate on important government policies, not to try to overturn an election result!

Starmer has responded to this petition by saying he isn't surprised people are calling for a general election (who is) but unlike most, he is blaming the people who didn't vote labour in.
He is out of touch with reality, I imagine a good % of the people who are voting, are Labour supporters, already regretting their actions.

Every decision a government makes in important, it affects everyone.
I doubt a new election will be called, but public opinion can count for a lot if the unrest is strong enough.
It could shake up the existing government, then they could pressure Starmer to resign.

No it won't call an election, but might get him ousted hopefully. He don't care he's a tyrant, they ignore the people

At the minute he is surrounded by a load of nodding dogs, if they don't agree with him, they just keep quiet or if a vote decides the outcome they will abstain or go unrecorded rather than speak out.
Cowards.

Is this why other countries never have civil unrest and try to dispose of their governments?
they sit and wait until they can vote again at the next general election?

Update...
"A viral petition demanding a new general election over Labour and Sir Keir Starmer's "broken promises" has soared to nearly three million signatures.
The Government swept to power with a massive majority in July's national poll, ratcheting up a stonking 174-seat majority in the House of Commons.
But even as the results were declared, critics pointed out that Labour only achieved a 33.7% share of the vote - just 1.6% more than the party achieved when Jeremy Corbyn was comprehensively beaten in 2019.
Since then, the Government has slumped to record levels of unpopularity, with a net approval rating of -39 according to polling firm YouGov.
Controversial decisions to cut winter fuel payments to pensioners and slap inheritance tax charges on farmers have soured Labour's reputation in the eyes of many.

As a result, pub landlord Michael Westwood launched his "Call a General Election" petition on Parliament's petitions website.
"I believe the current Labour Government have gone back on the promises they laid out in the lead-up to the last election," he wrote.
By law, petitions on the parliamentary website that attract more than 100,000 signatures must be debated by MPs. A discussion is scheduled for January 6 in the House of Commons."

They got in as many didn't vote either. They need to go, they're liars, and not lived up to any of their manifesto. Starmer must go!
