If you could invite 5 people, dead or alive to dinner, not including family, who would you choose and why.
I would choose, not necessarily at the same time.
1. Jesus, to know him and if what they say about him is true.
2. Anne Boleyn, who was executed on trumped up charges.
3. Queen Elizabeth 1st, my favourite Tudor along with her mother Anne.
4. Freddie Mercury he would be such fun.
5. Cliff Richard my favourite all time singer.

Ooh…the possibilities are endless!
Right off the top of my head…
The Obamas
Helen Mirren
Maggie Smith (RIP)
Gabriel Garcia Marquez (RIP) (and the legendary American journalist, Dan Rather)
There‘s always room for one more on most tables!

Princess Diana.
Princess Kate....present and previous Princesses of Wales, they could compare how times have changed.
Harold Wilson...True Labour PM, no doubt turning in his grave, so he can come to my party and tell us what he thinks of the present shower.
George Michael...A lovely man, gone too soon, I want him back.
Andy Garcia...just because he is gorgeous.

We met Helen Mirren years ago in a Manchester restaurant. A group of us were eating, she came in with a few other actors, they were making Prime Suspect in Manchester.
Our table was pretty lively. We knew the owners, so after hours we had an impromptu Karaoke and her table joined ours, I remember she was one of the few who wouldn't sing solo, but she sang backing to a few of us. She was also giving my OH the eye all night, and apart from dressing for attention, she seemed quite shy really...certainly not as rowdy as some of us.
Overall impression, she was a nice lady.

Wow… SO envious! I’m surprised at the ‘shyness’, tbh. Even in interviews, she always strikes me as being supremely confident.
She was lucky you were too much of a lady to deck her for ogling your OH

Why Raquel Welch?
She couldn't act, couldn't sing, and she showed her true colours when she turned up late at her own sons wedding, wearing an attention grabbing outfit , dark sunglasses and a massive hat.
So insecure was she, she couldn't bare to be second place to the bride.

I was surprised she seemed shy tbh...maybe it was because she can't sing and everyone else was passing the mike around.
When she came in the restaurant, she certainly didn't look reserved. She was wearing a huge pair of fairy wings over her dress....like she really wanted to be noticed.
When she joined us she wasn't like that though.
I found it quite flattering that a big star like her seemed taken with my OH, had he been taken with her, it would have been a different matter.;
