Saving Dogs in China and other charities.

Dogs get a really raw deal in China.   This little charity specialises in rescuing dogs from there, getting them life saving treatment and finding them homes.   Not all Chinese people are cruel to animals and lots of the dogs are stolen pets but now, with the WuFlu in full throttle lots of animals are getting the blame and being kicked out on the street.

This poor little  bull dog was found in Yaan dumped by the owner most likely because the dog has horrendous skin issues and also because of the false news around the Coronavirus blaming dogs and cats which of course is totally unfounded and as usual the animals get the blame as if their little lives weren’t hard enough in China as it is.   Rushton Dog Rescue is paying for his treatment and will sort out a placement for him once the blocks are lifted from all the Provences and inner villages because currently nobody can move freely around China very easily

Their charity motto is  - From darkness to light we will find you and bring you home.

There will be no mean or snide guest posts let through on this. The reason I've put it in the Whine is for maximum exposure.

Feel free to post your favourite charity here.

My OH and I donate to a few and alas cannot give to all.

Wateraid is the charity that really gets me. Just a simple pill can sanitise the dirty drinking water that makes children very ill and can tragically be fatal.

I cannot imagine how are mother must feel, giving her baby dangerous dirty water and just hoping her child survives. While people bicker in the West over what is mainly  mundane crap when all is said and done, children are dying from either dehydration or dirty water.

If politicians had their priorities right, well frankly if everyone did,  this wouldn't be a reality. It's all about what the powers that be consider important. Dying poor children clearly don't cut it.

I believe you can give to Wateraid off your phone credit if you can't afford a direct debit.
