The cloak of anonymity must justify the outpouring of hate in these trolls minds but for the life of me I cannot relate to this mentality. My life will not be improved by making someone else miserable so what's the point?

If a forum is that toxic to you, then don't be on them - and certainly don't go into the public part and interact with the trolls, take a pop at other forums and its members then don't expect it back. Any decent admin will assess someone's mental health and ban them for their own good. Fluffy is telling members of Newsfix she got banned from here. She didn't. I have no idea why she feels the need to lie. But if I thought her mental health was being seriously compromised by being on this forum, she would have been banned for her own good, just as I banned Charlie for the same reason.

There are plenty of people on forums with lots of problems but they don't trumpet them to the four corners on public forums in order to gain sympathy. They deal with it.

Georgia (and the ones pretending to be her to cause trouble) did get trolled in Whine, anyone who denies that needs to go to Specsavers.

However, we did advise her not to feed the trolls and post in the main forum where most of the time people respect each other.

That didn't work out for her either, and she left of her own accord, she certainly was not banned...she did ask to come back, but it was thought at the present time it was best not to allow that.

I hope she is fine on NF, there are no guest posters, so whatever people say to her there they at least say it in their own name.

Hi, I am sorry about your personal experiences but I have to comment on "Flack". By Flack I assume you mean Caroline Flack rather than some former forum member named Flack. There is no evidence to suppose that Caroline Flack took her own life "because of keyboard trolls". Only when there is evidence for this should Caroline Flack be dragged into this discussion. However, your own personal experience is a more believable example of the effect of "keyboard trolls". I have heard of stories of school children taking their own lives because of school bullying, a component of which was online bullying.

I think, I've made about half a dozen posts since the start of the year and the reason for that is because I have a lot going on offline.

Three weeks ago a close relative of mine died and three days later I was given the news that another close blood relative of mine is terminally ill.
