Without fail, every site I have read, posted on you will get your FM's that openly support the admin or openly loathe them and especially loathe the owner if it is a smaller site. At times the criticism may be fair but on the whole it is unfair and lacks substance as there is usally none.

The bottom line is the ones that fall out big time are usually the ones that felt they were close to the Mods/owners and it starts of with a public slap down, possible suspension after that and then a ban. This group of people IMO never appear to get over it but there is an easy solution to that.  Yes, think about you being an owner/mod on a site and what you would have done if you posted items which breached the sites T&C's.

I ran a small forum, it was mine and got family initially to post then friends, then work friends and we had about 20 odd regular posters there. God was it hard work keeping everyone happy. I just closed the place down and feel a lot better about that.  This site allows references to other sites especially the Dogs and as I have said before on another thread I just normally post on the DS threads to vent my anger at the misfits on DSlol.  It does the trick as I've vented my anger and go back and enjoy DS. Even on DS long standing FM's can get suspended, posts, threads removed and possibly a ban and boy are they unhappy. Next time you fall out with Admin, put yourself in their shoes, trust me it will make you see the light.... (This post is not aimed at ANY FM but I hope this helps everyone)

Personally I think the only thing admin/mod needs is a sense of fair play, patience, but mostly a good sense of humour....because you certainly need one on most forums.

Not sure what you are saying? Are you saying that an admin a forum goes to another forum to slag off a colleague... why would they do that?

I guess fair play is hard for many when they get a bit of power. What I dislike is, on the smaller forums only and not DS is the fact that some can get away with slagging off FM's that have been banned or left for various reasons. This site appears to have very fair admin, on the whole.

Probably because neither of us is on a power trip...and neither of us take it too seriously.

No you both are not and this is why even the sites best mate, Dean wanted to come here from what I have read. This site is firm but fair as you point out in your sigi. You two remind me of the good and bad copper, you being the nice one and Digs wields the truncheon but only when it is appropriate. As well as reading, posting on DS as a FM, I post on the Dogs in the DS threads only at times and Newsfix, occasionally and over there it is fair as well...

I doubt you would change JD's picture as you are firm lol

The head boy, hunk over at the dogs, why doe it take people a few weeks to see through him? I have to hand it to him, he's got what it takes to have so many people wanting to help him. With his wit and skill, I am actually surprised why he is not very rich, possibly will be withing a couple of years imo.

About the Dogs seeking a FM to become a new admin and requesting his or her phone number. Could it just be to confirm that the bos is dealing with a female as opposed to a male or a bot? lol
