The apps, Korea, Singapore, Japan and so on have good experience of this, so why not build on what they had? If this trace and track app fails on that small island off the south of England, what back up plans does Boris have? Is there a plan B or will it be next week, next week, and so on? In Singapore only 20% took up the app.
Blood plasma treatment. China started this months ago as did some other countries and Ital started about two months ago, what were the results and could Boris and co not build on that? Same goes for drugs trials regarding Covid.
The wearing of masks in public in England, a political decision as there is a shortage of masks as this political party is allowing millions of masks being sent abroad because they could not be bothered to take up offers, etc. My brother is a builder and he had a few dozen masks that cost about 1.50p each and gave us some, they are a better grade than the ones the Amercians talk about. I have made masks at home and selling them on ebay. Surely the wearing of any face covering reduces the risks to others and the person wearing it.
Ramping up, I'd like to shove a ramp up their back side about the lies the public are fed, EG, the 100 thousand tests daily, all lies even official figures can't mask them.
My mum, dad and many people I know that are over the age of 60 and live in England have had their hospital appointments cancelled and some more urgent than others. I rang from where we are on behalf of my parents and the hospital staff in the midlands told me they do not know when they will be taking on appointments. Why not use the private hospitals the government paid for and hospitals are empty, thankfully.

In what way?
Regarding blood plasma. I would rule out China, I'm not sure you can believe much of what they say. As far as Italy goes and what I can find. They started blood plasma trialing mid-April, there doesn't seem to be any results yet.
On masks, Boris seems to be going against his ministers and experts on this. If you heard what he said the other day. He said they might be useful etc
Well I guess you would only believe testing figures if you were present every time a test is done.
Hospitals are empty? How many have you visited?

They were talking about the trace app on the news and were baffled why England was not using tried and tested apps by Apple and Google.
Re hospitals being empty, the Nightingale in Manchester, equipped to take 750 coronavirus patients has so far only had a handful.
Obviously that's good news, and hopefully they have not been constructed because a bigger second wave is expected.

i've done some quick research and all nightingale hospitals almost empty and going into mothball, all good but what about those thousands missed appointments waiting for first appointments? radio 5 live the other day call in, private hospitals doing nothing s no covid patients which is good but the covid task force again slow to act :-(
The Government acted way too slowly, they didn't even advise wearing masks in homes stating they were ineffective!
Sir Kier is ripping through Johnson's bluster like a missile. The guidance for care homes did not change when the virus got worse and Boris was telling the public to wear masks..but the elderly residents in care homes still didn't require them
As for their lockdown rules, the other parts of the UK are united that 3 more weeks is sensible to protect and save lives. That's not really a priority to the Tories so the English had to take their chances. It's all about the economy with the Tories , they are insisting every menial worker risks their life so they can get on paying their tax again.

The government have made some mistakes there is no denying that, but I'm glad (for once in my life) that Tories were in charge rather than Labour...and it's easy for Starma to rip Johnson and his cabinet apart when he isn't accountable.
Unfortunately care home residents have been badly hit throughout other countries as well, and the government here were slow in providing the care they badly needed.
It doesn't help that this morning on BBC radio a spokesperson for carers stated that some are showing signs of coronavirus and still going into work because they need the money.
Kill a few oldies as long as you get your wage.....what a dilemma.

They sure have made mistakes. Boris is just winging it, and whoever is advising him
wants shutting up. The government fucked up by letting passengers sail through British airports without getting
quarantined. They should have shut the borders 6 weeks ago, all those ppl coming from China
and other countries, they were sure to have had Covid 19.
I think the government should have waited until June to see if those figures came down before sending

So have you not looked at this in detail? Starmer was pointing to guidance that was put out by PHE on the 25th of February. Anyone with even half a brain will understand that PHE were putting out guidance based on evidence and info that they had at that time! It's not difficult to comprehend. So that was pretty pointless of him.
As for Boris answering 'no' to Starmer's question in the HOC. That was no doubt because Stramer wasn't telling the whole story and BoJo knew that. Boris replied back to a letter Stramer wrote him yesterday evening, you should read that exchange.
Oh God you and your masks AGAIN(probably the same anon) Been covered too many times I won't be covering it anymore.. no pun intended. lol
Lockdown seems like a 50/50 split thing in society. If he decided to go on another 3 weeks in exactly the same way as we have been. Many people would have moaned incessantly about that. In fact the days before Boris made some minor changes I heard a fair number of people stating they wanted some restrictions lifted. Lockdown lifting is a dammed if you do, dammed if you don't situation. It's a very fine balance! And bear in mind plenty of people have already been working all through this crisis, not only NHS workers, plenty of other people also. Those people are paying for many to have 80% pay 100% Holiday. There does come a time when these things need to be thought about it becomes unfair.
