Apparently scammers have all come out of the woodwork since this pandemic, taking advantage of people who may be feeling vulnerable, even posing as funeral directors if someone has had a family member die of the virus.
Apart from funeral directors, Tax offices, Amazon, Netflix, various banks and building society names are all being used to try to get info and money of unsuspecting people.
The info about people can apparently be bought really cheaply on the dark web, so be careful who you give details to and always log out after making a purchase online.
I very rarely use Amazon, but a couple of nights ago I ordered something from them, at 9am the next morning I received a call purporting to be from Amazon saying my internet had been compromised. I doubt it's a coincidence that they used the Amazon name so soon after me ordering.

I got an email through the other day saying my
trial for amazon music had come to an end, and I would
have to pay £24.99. I thought SCAM. I don’t use amazon music !
