What if black holes are not really collapsed stars?
Interesting question Digs although much greater minds than ours say they are.
What fascinates me is that the laws of time and physics stop in the singularity - a mystery to end all mysteries and utterly unsolvable as far as I can tell.

Perhaps the mysteries of the Universe are not meant to be solved. It would probably blow our minds.

Well we are simply not cognitively equipped yet to grasp certain things, after all we are merely the last surviving Hominins but science is advancing at an exponential rate and so is computing power so given the vast amount of time in front of us (if we do not destroy ourselves and the planet of course) then who know what we will discover?
