I do everything that's wrong that is in the following post and worse.
I scratch about on the floor and in the door pockets of a manky old van looking for a mask to wear.
I use the same mask again and again not a fresh one for each shop.
In the air there are mould spores cold and flu virus and God knows what else that might in other times pass you by but .... if you're using the mask more than once then you are breathing in dust mites all manner of microbes and no doubt in my vehicles the fucking plague!
Breathing in these contaminants deeply again and again.
Or I did.
Medical Doctor Warns that “Bacterial Pneumonias Are on the Rise” from Mask Wearing
Dr. James Meehan, MD followed by warning that mask wearing has “well-known risks that have been well-studied and they’re not being discussed in the risk analysis.
“I’m seeing patients that have facial rashes, fungal infections, bacterial infections. Reports coming from my colleagues, all over the world, are suggesting that the bacterial pneumonias are on the rise.
“Why might that be? Because untrained members of the public are wearing medical masks, repeatedly… in a non-sterile fashion… They’re becoming contaminated. They’re pulling them off of their car seat, off the rearview mirror, out of their pocket, from their countertop, and they’re reapplying a mask that should be worn fresh and sterile every single time.”
“In February and March we were told not to wear masks. What changed?
I wonder if research shows that people in China, for eg, have more cases of Bacterial Pneumonia than countries who don't habitually wear face coverings.
They have wore them for many years, so presumably they must suffer more if there is truth in what's said.

Yes I wonder that Syl. They've worn masks for years, and still got Covid.
Hi jack, I really believe this. They're more of a health risk than without one. Pointless imo.

Speaking of China as Syl has, they probably wear them better for starters. And stick to it. China is obviously a totally different place as well. It's a totalitarian state.
Even if masks were mandatory everywhere here in the UK indoors and outdoors apart from your own home. With fines. Many people still would not stick to wearing them. Want to wear them. It's not in our nature never has been. Many people just wouldn't care.
On the surface it doesn't seem like such a big deal sticking a face covering or mask on. But to many people here it obviously is. May be in a Country like ours it does do more harm than good. Some experts are saying just that and always have. But hey who really knows for sure.

Probably no fucker. lol
If wearing masks makes folks feel safer I suppose that's all that matters.
The oceans and beaches are crammed with billions of them now - due to selfish bastards they are an existential threat to what remains of the natural world.

I was speaking to a close friend today, and we both agreed that something is in the air that feels wrong and bad and off kilter. I've felt this way for the past few years. I feel we're being pushed into places of even more control. A cashless society that will enable you to be tracked and followed for every single penny you spend or make. Massive vaccination drives. Being made more and more ill by what's put in our food and the way corporate advertising misleads the sheep. The rich getting richer. The poor getting poorer. And all the while we can't step off the treadmill of the material shit dangled in our faces. It feels like a massive trap we're all being funnelled into.

True enough.
How many people think that way though. I'm not sure.
Do enough people think that way. How long is a piece of string.

I think a lot do. I'm not sure but my mind set is if it even gives me a small amount of protection, then it's better than nothing.
The physical effect of wearing a mask doesn't bother me, I get a dry mouth, big deal.
For me, and I suspect others, the biggest drawback is not showing your face when you are interacting with people. Our faces are what we have always communicated with, and it's been taken away. That's the worst aspect of it imo.
Obviously, if this carries on indefinitely we will get used to that, but it's just one more social aspect, one that has always connected people that's being eroded.

I so miss wearing lippy...I dont bother putting it on when I am going out now because it just transfers to the mask, I have actually started putting in on at home instead, just to look more like me.
