Couple of glasses of prosecco, just taken food out of freezer to defrost overnight in the fridge for tomorrows dinner.

For the first time since I got married I am only cooking Christmas dinner for two.

It's going to be the easiest Christmas ever.....so every cloud.

Right now this minute....
Sat in the kitchen, which is warm and smells of coffee and toast (very late breakfast) looking out over the hills and fields at the frost, ice and fog, and deciding that there is absolutely nothing on my shopping list that I really need....so sod it, I am staying home for the day.

It's snowing, quite heavy now and beginning to stick.

We did contemplate taking the sledge actually, it's not thick enough though...and now it'a stopped snowing anyway.

It's actually sunny here today, freezing cold though.
Waiting in for the boiler repair man...it's sprung a leak.
WHY does this always happen on one of the coldest days of the year? bored
