YouTube star Nikki Phillippi is facing a furious backlash for euthanizing her dog Bowser for having 'an aggressive side' after he bit her one-year-old son Logan. 

The influencer, 33, took to Instagram on Monday to share photos of Bowser with her family over the years — including a new picture of him with Logan — to announce that she and her husband Dan Phillippi had put him down. 

'...I'm so grateful for our time with you. You were a mini horse, a shark, a bear, a mouse, a dinosaur and Dans best friend all in one,' she began her post. 'You made me laugh... you made me cry... you destroyed our property... and you also kept it safe. lol You kept ME feeling safe... 

'Bowser was the ultimate cuddle bug, but you wouldn't necessarily know that if you just dropped by our house... he just acted crazy. Well,' she continued. 'Bowser had an aggressive side that reared its ugly head a few times over the years. After a lot of counsel, we decided it was time for Bowser to pass peacefully on.' 

While the comments on the video were disabled, that didn't stop viewers from slamming Nikki on Twitter.   

'On today’s episode of influencers are the real pandemic... @NikkiPhillippi puts down her dog for biting her kid but not before she has a photoshoot with the dog inches away from the kid the dog allegedly bit and needs to be put down for. F**k you,' one person tweeted.

Yes.  The 'vicious' dog was deemed placid enough to endure another sugary photoshoot  with her and her child for the masses before being put down.   Watch this silly cow's You Tube channel (if she hasn't taken the offending vids down) to see her baiting Bowser, tormenting Bowser and allowing her toddler to abuse Bowser.    All for shits and giggles and a monetized You Tube.   

And before anyone says this strengthens the  argument that having a pet is cruel, the majority of dog owners forge loving relationships with their pets while still respecting that it's an animal and not a human child.  

I have an especial dislike of Vloggers and Influencers.   They are the most vacuous, egotistical waste of space on the planet.

We had a bull terrier when I was a baby till 5 years old, they are the most faithful of dogs IF they are treated properly.

They are also strong and powerful, and if this stupid cow was taunting the dog, and allowing her children to do the same, any dog can turn.

Why didn't she try to rehouse him?

I have no idea who she is. She could have tried to rehome him, but dogs like that are notoriously difficult to rehome. Like pitbulls here, who are voluntarily surrendered to the pound to be "rehomed". That almost never happens so they spend a week in a cage wondering where their master is before being put down by a stranger...

The stupid bitch deserves all the abuse she is getting, animals are like humans, if continue to abuse and mistreat them and they become damaged and some will snap - sometimes with tragic consequences.

Would she do that with a wolf? 

Wild wolves are terrified of humans but domestic dogs have no such fear.
