Science evolves, that is it's very nature it is self correcting and we know far, far more about climate change than we did in the '70s and have far more sophisticated methods to predict the future.

It is funny reading about an Ice Age though Digs because we will get get bloody cold in winter if the Gulf Stream goes tits up, we will have the same sort of temperatures as the Scandinavian countries do now.

 Science does evolve, so maybe bold proclamations are not in order. 

 

Especially by politicians.
